Oddly enough, I used about 6-7 monsters and only one lvl 5 meatman, so it takes less scumming than one might think. And it also took me a couple of tries before the RNG lined up the silly setup for me. And it does have a few roadblocks which can make or break the game (fully explored killed me once, no XP can also screw anyone up, and bloodless is a pain as well). The important thing is that the fully explored doesn't end up being the large Binlor one.

Dear god that's busted

Darvin wrote:Yup, the vampire is a relatively straightforward Gaan-Telet win. Of course, where you hit your bloodless level can make or break it.
You know what? Vampire can, under the right circumstances, kick Monk's ass for blackspace benefits. That's how this thing worked - you use 5-7 blood cows every time before you explore, so every, say, seven tiles you explore you regen a big bunch of health. With LEMISI and the treasure for a certified buyout and shops rigged a bit through vetoing to hand out CP, I bet you could do silly crap in at least Dragon Isles.

We do this to each other all the time

That recent playthrough thread? I planted bombs in there at times just to see if anyone's reading, right in the middle of a textwall. Didin't take a day before Avatar posted a crazy win in the Dungeon of the Day thread. And every so often someone comes up with an off the wall strat like the healthmonster using stuff noone's payed attention to... Or someone posts an idea that can only be visible to him or her because of their preffered playstyle, and then someone with a different playstyle picks it up and optimizes it with stuff the original guy wouldn't think off, and then someone adds his cheeze to it, and then someone points out that it would work somewhere where noone's thought it would, then someone beats the game with it...
And then we decide it's probably too good and petition the devs to tone the damned thing down

So it's more of a team effort/brain trust thing ^^ If anyone's read Pratchetts "Interesting Times", we're a bit like the bunch of senior citisen barbarian heroes who've been doing the heroing for so long we beat stuff up on sheer expirience and autopilot footwork

Oh, and you can use Zombies, Snakes, Goblins, Goo Blobs and Dragonspawn as well.
