Crash! (No log in for you!)

Postby Denrith on Fri May 17, 2013 9:49 pm

I recently just bought the game and was quite eager to begin my dungeon slaying adventure, when as I was logging in it crashed on me. I quickly logged into the forums to find a solution to my dilemma, maybe it was my browser? My flash player? But no solution seemed to appear. Is it something I'm missing or just a generic bug with new accounts?

No, our webhost was having some sort of database overload going on. It should be stable now.

Erg. That sounds like your save file got corrupted... Um. I'll get Aeq to poke that when he wakes up. If I knew how to get into the database to give you a new profile and have that be selected, I would.

Really sorry that your first experience with DD is so poor :(

I just tried logging in for the first time in quite a long while and am getting exactly the same error, would you mind fixing it for me when you have a chance? I'd love to see the progress the game has made in the year+ since I last played.

Hmmm. Something has to be causing these issues. I'll look into it.
