I like the keyboard movement very much! Didn't think that it would work so well, you can even go diagonally. And it feels a lot more like actually walking through a dungeon.
I don't like the square highlighting with the mouse control, it emphasizes the grid too much. Safe to hit enemys could have a green square, I think.
As a whole, very nice update!

You just walk into it a second time, that deselects it.
