Short but to the point.
The biggest problem I feel with F2P games is that the game itself can suffer since it must now incorporate its monetization strategy into its very design. Game mechanics designed to push merch can be distracting and subtract from the game experience. Even the "visual" side of the spectrum isn't immune to this, especially in multiplayer where it becomes part of the player interaction.

The devs of Neverwinter should have read this.
Let's forget about the "So-And-So Got a Heavy Inferno Nightmare!" popping up on-screen every few minuets. Even when you're in an instance. If we can.
They may have called it a beta, but once you start taking real money*, the beta is over. The gem / glyph / enchant (whatever they are) glitch undermined the entire market. Could we add a 3rd axis of trust to the equation?
You need to know the time you spend grinding isn't going to be made meaningless 3 days later.
*Edit- I don't mean preorders, obviously. =)
