I know what you mean here. It the same for me.
The think which amazes me the most about DD are all these small details and stuff one can learn. Stuff which one can't use in the beginning since one doesn't understand it, Stuff which is totally counterintuitive, and so on.
Will visit now a friend who started playing DD just this weekend, looking forward to see how he plays, probably giving him some hints for the details of the game (which aren't need in the beginning, but which are essential for the vicious dungeons) and also to think about my play-style and what i can learn from him.
