Desktop Dungeon account (Steam user)

Hey there community,

I just started out enjoying this great game and i really like it so far.
Real challenging

I know its possible to redeem a steam key if you have preordered DD, my question is:
Is it also possible if you bought the steam version to create a Desktop Dungeons account with it so you can play in the web browser?

I've been reading the FAQ and Stickties but couldn't find an answer to my question, maybe im just blind ^^

Click on the Log In button and follow the prompts to create an account tied to your Steam ID
