Preps still show wrong (might be because the version was rolled back).

I agree today's was very easy. I was like, hmm, Gorgon, that's a bit fragile, but then I was like, hmm, Mystera, she can turn anything into a freaky spellcaster, so it doesn't really matter what's the race/class... :)

Btw time is showing really incorrectly. My vic screen shows 12 minutes, my leaderboard entry shows 21. I did not test whether Astral's theory (i.e. score screen shows time until bosskill) holds water, probably should do so in the future. I did spend more time mopping up than usual, mostly because I killed the bosses relatively early, and I still had a mostly full map of other juicy monsters... Anyway. I guess the time game is just not for me :P

I was measuring time again, didn't forget to mark my bosskills either, and the result is that the vic screen timer stops at your last bosskill, but the leader boards one runs until you exit with the trophy.

I prepped Zot + Elven Boots, also picked a Flame Magnet in the hopes of stumbling into MA anyways, no such luck. Found a JJ instead, by the end I had 25 mana with the least effort I ever put into JJ. Didn't even have the inventory space to hold a piety farming glyphs :P

I played very slowly btw, wanted to make sure the different time points are easy to distinguish. Also checked out if most Gorgon related bugs still work, like persistent burn stacking and limitless lifesteal.

Saturday's daily was fun, I don't currently have the gorgon unlocked so I was kinda working from memory. Thankfully Zot made it really easy to win, killed Aequitas with a handful of fireballs using a ding, no discreet resource loss, then set up the next ding and took the Goo down. Fun stuff, but not the fastest, and my lack of experience with the gorgon meant a lot of flailing around the early levels. Starting at 16 mana made that go a bit more smoothly, though.

Sunday's was interesting to me,

Suggestion for the vets: Since you will probably beat every dungeon, why don't you try to up the challenge and only play purist? Do you think the dailies so far would have all been possible to beat purist?

Might be a good time to try now since the leaderboards will probaby be wiped.

Ok, I'm not really a vet. Still, I would not like to play the dailies purist, because it's a single opportunity to experience a unique combination of preps that you normally don't have a chance to experience. like to prep multiple boosters; or multiple altars; or prep unlockerable items like the corrosive stick or the dragon heart.

I wouldn't be too hung up on the whole leaderboard / scoring thing. Not just because they may get wiped, but because they aren't really meaningful. They show a little bit of skill; a little bit of playstyle; a little bit of luck; and of course play frequency. Great for forum banter, but not really a hard core ELO-type skill ranking.
