The boon reset is a very interesting idea. It would open up a lot of strategic options. If it was tied to a race and not a class, you could see such exploits like double Mystic Balanced Warlords.

Monsterclass-challange items

So here is something a bit different. Monsterclass-challange items. Though there are no monsterclass-challanges, I still like to make fantasy items and classes. Who knows, maybe sometime there will be class challanges for the monsterclasses. Goatperson technicaly got some allready, with the tri-quests.

So here are some quick sprites, mostly just recoloured or slightly edited items of items in the game at the momment

Anyways, let's talk item stats.
Gorgon's Lock (Recoloured Soul Orb sprite atm) : 10% deathgaze, works same way as gorgon's deathgaze

Dragon Claw : BURNDAYRAZ and Magical-attacks penetrate 25% of enemy magic resistances, Small item

Possessed Teddy : Enemies no leave blood upon being slain, for every 10th non-undead/bloodless enemy slain, the possesed teddy will provide a health potion.

Regal Ring : Reuseable Compression seal, costs 30 gold each use, small item

Goat-Brew : Drinking a potion provides 5 food, small item

Edit : Adventure's guild class-challange items

(Crusader) Trailblazers : +1 base damage per stack of trailblazing, max stats = 2,5*level (works simmlar to mommentum, attack an enemy and not scoring a kill, makes you lose half your stacks)

(Transmuter) Conversion Gem : Grants + 10 conversion points whenever you convert an item worth 10 or more conversion points.

(Tinker) Mini Swiss Alchemy Kit : gives 2 seals on use (you may not get two of the same seal)

Doesn't seem that bad, really. Worse than Keg of Health and much better prepped than found...

I think it would only make it harder. Taking up even 5% sanguine is better than that, and most classes would want to stack sanguine to beat Horatio, so the loss of blood pools would really hurt.

I see, I have yet to beat the V Gaan Telet, so I supouse I wouldn't know anyways :P


So I said earlier I was working on making a whole sprite sheet for a race, here is the Demon race in it's classless state (mostly finished, I might patch up the suit, make him a bit slimmer and change his hairstyle)
