I am not nearly as good as you folks, but I've been trying to beat naga city with chemist. Any chance you would be up for trying this? If you want some extra challange, try to get atleast 4 badges while doing so (DING! Max! discluded).

Right, well, here you go, allthough it might not be very helpful to you, and I was missing the chemist here anyway. Was gonna try for a Gnome, but I just played 15 or so Gnomes here and didn't have much time so I did this:

Image

I blundered through the topside just removing walls and spamming stoneskins after I got the might and the stone fist. I ran into the Hero Helm eraly for the 16 mana pool, and grabbing it right away was a mistake because I ran out of room, so the sword got converted imediately. There was a balanced dagger so I just killed whatever and tried to get whatever I could out of the map (wasn't trying to hard, because I kind of rampaged around with endiswall in mana form at lvl 1 - endiswal wasn't from Binlor but maybe I would've taken it from him too).

Other than the very important helm (could've been anything with +1 mana, really), the shops weren't much for anything. I picked up a gloves of midas to get some cash out of killing stuff, and, well, PoS is that kind of build, you don't need much for it to work, so I picked up whatever I could for conversion and convenience and went down. At this point I only had Pissorf and Getindare (wouldn't necessarily if I had the inventory space). Saved the translocation seal for Yendor.

Down below the first vawe were SMM, Frank and Aequitas, and I moved them a tiny bit so I could slap the other guys into the SMM, did a salvo with the ball, dinged off a piece of popcorn, then pool + shchadenfraude + ball, then did the JJ manouvre. (didn't have gold to swap out of JJ immediately, though, but I did after killing Aequitas) (JJ trick - join JJ when you want to level up and have 100 piety, desecrate something, CA, Consensus out - takes 60 gold, but can be done for 40 and then you swap out ASAP when you get the next 20).

Frank went down, SMM was low, so I used mana form to reach Yendor. This healed SMM a bit but wth, as long as he was below Aequitas that was fine, used yendor, possed them down. You can sort of tell how the rest went down, I was in Mystera but I swapped to Binlor for stoneskins (knockback an pissorff on popcorn helped with piety) and I used stoneskins to get hits in on stuff and stone hearts to open up space. There was also some health form regen fighting going on at one point togather with the Pissorf spam.

Not sure this will help you much, but the margin of error on this run was quite huge, I think someone more meticulous could've got a lot more out of it. Felt fine to me. The gold dungeon was a bit of a luckout, though, because it + gloves allowed me to juggle gods and I would've had to play it differently if it wasn't for that and SMM + Frank in the first vawe maybe would have stopped me.

Also did the daily, but this one's so easy and can be done in so many ways I don't mind spoiling it :)

On the chemist naga city, how did you get enough piety for chaos form so quickly?

I went down with a lot of Binlor Piety from topside (had endiswal with mana from, was good) and used pissorff on the low level guys to the right and to the left just to hit them into walls once to get it to 100. Then when I wanted to take CA I unlocked JJ and EM and joined JJ. Then I immediately desecrated EM, which got me corroded, but it also got me 80 piety for CA. I had to kill something before I could move out using Consensus buecuse I couldn't afford to unlock the third altar.

Even thought I still haven't managed to beat naga city with the chemist yet, I've learned alot from your bloggy playthroughs, and finaly unlocked the gorgon legit on my new save. (I had cheated alot for unlocks on my old save, not proud of if, but I would've probary given up on the game along time ago, so I certainly don't regret it.)

Out of curiosity, Lujo, which vicious dungeons have you completed with the transmuter, and with which setup? I'd like some tips for tackling those runs.
