The extra shop had a spoon in it.
I expected a little better for not choosing the other 2 options on the prep screen.

Taking both the the +1 and -1 glyph is really cool: you'll end up with 5 glyphs of 130 CP value.

Played pretty suboptimally, levelled past what I needed to and chewed all my popcorn up before fighting the bosses, I ended up just about being able to use a ding and Chaos Avatar to beat Frank, leaving me my potions for Kibaru. Felt strange hitting max level in a daily, I normally start fighting the bosses at level 5-6.

Extra shop starts you off with the shop scroll, which you can either convert or spawn a shop with it. It's a random shop.

Spoon's actually good if you want to kill slowed popcorn at lvl 1 I think. Not sure though. Never looks like a good deal compared to anything else you could get in the shop but I don't veto it anyway, it's a handy little thing. Cheap bit of conversion fodder for gods that like that, too.

The glyph preps work differently than you remember:
Less glyphs removes 1 glyph but makes all other worth 150 CP, so 50 more than usual.
Extra glyph adds 1, but decreases the CP values to 80 CP, so by 20.
Combine the two and you have unchanged glyph count with 100 + 50 - 20 = 130 CP each.

You can tell which shop is the extra easily. When you use the shop scroll a shop spawns under your tile, that's the one which had the spoon in my run.

Gnome Bloodmage, Den of Danger

Another JJ/Mystera map? Prepped triple deities. Desecrate Binlor, start JJ with a very early Petition (one corrosion stack, sadface). Bloody Sigil seemed like an ok thing to have, but I didn't use it much - I was halfway through the map before I found Burndayraz.

Lujo should be pleased that the boss was The Iron Man. 75% MR, with a JJ prep - and PISORF spawned randomly. I went through two que balls though, and had to get one more melee hit in, even after a Whupaz start. I didn't achieve Parched because I wanted to boost Sanguine anyway and I wanted to be totally safe, even if it wasn't hard. You're not exactly having a good time with the race/class combo if you go for Parched, even if you can get by.

A high-level Slime or Goblin helped when they came, but there was more MR than I really wanted to see.

Well, a combination of Binlor prep destroying the map and some embarrassing tired early cockiness left that the closest I've come to losing a DERP so far. Truly appalling play into Bloodmage-wins-maps business.
