Took a leisurely stroll today. Not going for speed (too tired, wouldn't be a wise move), so I took the opportunity to do a nice cleanup and go for unstoppable.

Well, that was delightful. Faithless and Miser, using the health potions from el potion loco to fuel some good catapults then blowing the bosses to smithereens. Fourth time as of writing, would probably have been second but I had to faff around turning music on and then going to plug my laptop in mid-run.

Made space in the top ten today, a bug ended my 22 long streak. Really thought it would be a goat run that would get me.

Forgot to do a daily at some point, lost my streak. Whoops.

Pretty proud of my time on the Dwarf Bloodmage run, as always Bloodmage is my worst class, so I ignored the class benefits as much as I could until fighting the bosses when I used it for a big spike, had enough resources for another 3 bosses I think.

Rough run today, (Rat Monarch on Shifting Passages) had a hard time levelling and tried to go for an early kill on Bleaty. Could only get 18 corrosion on him and didn't have the mana, tried to get another quicksilver from TT but it wasn't enough, I just threw myself at Bleaty with a 5% dodge. At the time I finished there was a lot of losses and no wins on the leaderboard, I sense this being a bit of a streak killer.

Oh wow. Let me get this straight. Rat Monarch on Shifting Passages with Bleaty.

The stuff of nightmares. Does skipping count as ending a streak? I'll go for it anyway, because I think skipping should count as losing, or at least count as a streak being over, in any case.

Whew, that was close. I was sure I was a goner and my streak would be broken by this one, but I eked out a win with a tiny bit of breathing room. I'm still kicking myself for reflexively going for attack boosters, though :-P

Binlor prep to avoid getting trapped, convert to Mystera for max MP and Mystic Balance. I couldn't afford refreshment. Used ENDISWAL to survive hits from Evolvia to rack up damage. Unfortunately, his magic damage / fireball retaliation form forced me to expend my Badge of Courage for DP so I couldn't use that in the Bleaty fight to come. Due to my low level and trouble hitting XP thresholds, I took the Alchemist's Pact (seriously, I rarely take this one but when you need it you need it) to get a level-up during the Bleaty fight. I used quicksilver and farmed for a dodge prediction to land my corrosive strike then whittled him down with fireballs. I had enough mana left for two more fireball strikes. I also used the Pendent of Mana to hit the 15 MP threshold for better mana potion returns, and of course used the schadenfreude potion from the subdungeon.

As of this writing, I am the only victory on the leaderboard. Looking forward to see who else survives this monstrous run (I notice that Lujo is in the dungeon as I write this, so looking forward to hearing his post-mortum. Pun intended)

Not that crazy and not that good, either. Picked the wrong purchases from the shops and stuck in Binlor too long - if I'd swapped to Mystera on time and in the right way it would've been a different story, but I was too paranoid about walls blocking me in. Ended up killing me. EDIT: I also didn't take the endiswall, which was the wrong move in retrospect, really should've. My fault, missplayed it (It's 5 AM and I'm only awake because my cat brought a live snake in all proud and stuff, "Look what I caught, Mom and Dad! How do I kill it?", scared the bejesus out of everyone in the house, so I had to deal with that, playing the daily after that not my smartest move  )

Also, another mistake was going for Stone Hearts because I was aftaid of walls, I think. Shuld've used Stoneskins in retrospect. The idea was to get the walls out of the way, and Consensus into Mystera, but I ended with noth enough blackspace to do anything that way. Would've done better to have just grabbed knockback and soul orb and consensused into M right away or something.

Big grats on winning this one Darvin, I gotta say. Funny thing is, I beat SP to a pulp on the regular completion run with the rat, allthought I might've had other preps. These are pretty busted preps all things considered, but as I said before, the rat's a strange pissorff spammer, not necessarily a good one, and Shifting Passages are one of the few maps where stuff that counters it can actually work.

EDIT: Or in retrospect I'm a complete and utter idjt. If I'd found Bleaty earlier I think I could've just move evolvia behind him and PoS him into her -.- If it wasn't the rat, doing that and then continuing with another cueball or even fireballs wold've made it easy  Dodge and Bage on bleaty for a 20 dmg Pissorff (lvl 8 regular pissorff), would've worked fine I think... I really shoulda played this one properly awake... What's actually funny was that overthinking it while not being capable of thinking straight did me in, I had all the junk I ussually roll stuff with, really should've beaten this.

Tinker will probably do it, too, shell end up doing the right thing whether consciously, unsconsciously or after reading the thread (simply because at leas one solution involves Mystera). Then she'll probably be pedantic enough to get through it all.
I almost got pwned by Shifty Brickwork!
