"Every 10th dungeon is vicious" or something like that would definitely make it hard to get long streaks. And at that point, even 10-19 wins would require a Vicious win. It would be pretty bad to make a change now because it would make it that much harder to catch up with an old streak.

The ladder would need to be reset if there was a substantial difficulty change. For my part, this wouldn't bother me. The bigger issue is that a difficulty increase would likely be unwelcome for the vast majority of players. Very few people cleared the Rat Monarch daily, and most vicious scenarios would be the same. A typical player just doesn't beat those first try, much less with an arbitrary race/class combo with restricted preps.

Welp, there are a lot of Vicious dungeons that are easier than a lot of Goats or Rats with the wrong deities. I suppose my bigger concern would be that a lot of them really heavily rely on really specific dungeon knowledge. An NL one would probably take me out just for that reason, since I've only ever bothered doing it with four classes.

Den of Danger, Dwarf Fighter

Not much to be said about this one, really. Converted everything afterward for lolol piety and lolol health. Had 300 health after Enlightenment. Would've been nice to find Balanced Dagger a bit earlier, but I managed to get Ding Max with Enlightenment anyway.

I'll remember that if it ever comes up. Not looking forward to our next Rat Monarch run, whenever or where ever it might be.

Until the hypothetical day that knockback-corrosion damage calculation is reworked, I might have to swear by PISORF for Rat Monarch. At least, I don't know how else I would have enough blackspace to fight more than one boss.

Prepping Bear Mace for piety farming leaves you with the option of converting it after Stone Fist, which is a big deal as inventory space and CP are both really valuable, and the actual number on your knockback damage is irrelevant. The big challenge for me would be farming 140 piety on the main floor so I could convert in to somebody else downstairs (Mystera would be good, yes).
