Yeah, I'm very cautious with the Chemist too. This one wasn't terrible, what with the Blue Bead in the shop pool and Mystera for Refreshment and HALPMEH to beat through the magic resistant form. The snakes, golems, and wraiths were excellent XP fodder. I managed to get a +4 level kill just by spamming fireballs at a wraith in mana form, and got some very nice kills against the other monsters with HALPMEH. In hindsight, I didn't use mana form nearly enough and could have gotten way more piety. I switched to JJ for the final form of the boss, using Binlor to nab petition and avoid any unwanted surprises and grab a few boosts.

And I totally sympathize with the post streak-break apathy. I've been knocked out of 2nd place on the leaderboard twice now and... well, you just have to take a page from the Glowing Guardian and request the Humility boon.

Fighting final version of Anoobis:
Just need to cast a few fireballs, use my remaining hp for a midfight level up, then cast the last few fireballs. Easy win!

Cast 1 fireball: JJ mana burns me. Pop my last mana potion, reveal tiles to fill up. Cast 1 fireball: JJ puts me at 1 hp. Fiiine. Fill up mana, pop my last HP potion to fill up on hp. Cast 1 fireball: JJ Manaburns me.

COME ON!

Very satisfying little challenge. Boss 2 was the trickiest as the low damage/lack of resistances/relatively low level because Creeplight's a bit weird without any popcorn bowling glyphs made it tough. Needed to use a healing potion to clear out tougher popcorn for a midfight levelup. I pisorfed him rather than using Halpme/Bysseps. Probably not the right call. Used Mystera, eventually picking up flames at level 7 to deal with the last form with the blackspace from the subs.

I forgot that this boss had 3 forms and tried to ration for 2. Barely did it with all my resources, right now to using up a Badge of Honour on the last form to get a final "Death Protection" hit on him.

I managed to remember to use my Mana Potions to take on Wraiths much earlier and also piety farm, but forgot about the Health Potions. In retrospect, it seems kind of harder to utilize the Health ones to take down monsters that are higher level than yourself - I'm not quite sure whether 2x health 0x mana regen fight ever beats regular health + mana regen unless you have very unfitting glyphs, and using it to cure Poison kind of bones you in a certain sense. Maybe I need to practice Chemist more.

(Why has all the Chemists been Human so far? Weird concidence? Or did I miss a non-human Chemist day?)

I tried two test runs with a similar setup to the daily, and failed both times.

I don't suppose anybody uploads annotated walkthroughs of the dailies. Would be quite useful to see the following day, especially for us beginners.
