With this lineup, a fighter on Grimm's is pretty safe. Smuggler's gives you a guaranteed level up, Sword is great early game, Transmutation lets you skip a roadblock... I ended up going with Taurog because it's been a while and I've missed Lord Rageface Mcstabstab.

Oh... my post-win-loss yesterday doesn't seem to have broken my streak. Weird. Especially as I'd gotten all philosophical rather than mad and just treated today's as an opportunity to enjoy some Jake Thackray rather than a quest to win.

All right..got my second win today!

I'm pretty new and I really love/hate this game. Two wins in ten tries....and so much to learn.

Does anyone post regular walkthroughs of past dailies? That goat one last week just beat me up and the one a couple days ago where everything had fireball retaliation coupled with physical resistance just stymied me.

You guys winning these things in under 5 minutes just goes beyond belief. Good job..and 100 wins in a row..sick!

Being new, the one big challenge is that I'm encountering monster, items and bosses in the dailies that I haven't unlocked yet in the regular game. Still so far to go.

Cheers.........Z

Second time I died on a daily even though the combat predication said "Win" and I'm almost certain I didn't accidentally double click on something, weird.

Ugh, I hate Cursed Oasis, and the default Deities are pretty much awful for the Chemist without very careful planning. I'll make sure to prep JJ next time...

I thought I could worship Dracul and IMAWAL a few low level undead monsters to help levelling. Well it didn't really pan out because that just leaves Dragonspawn, Bandit and AAs as acceptable targets, and you generally don't want to have huge stacks of Curse on you, considering the layout today.

Thank god for conversion and Zombie Gold. At least there's (more than) enough gold for TT Reflexes....

Okay, someone explain to me how I am #1 for time right now? I went for Unstoppable and my victory time was inflated by a full minute as a result, nor was this particularly fast by my standards to begin with. I realize today's run was tricky with the Chemist and Cursed Oasis, but everything else was really favorable. With both JJ and Mystera available as preps, Dracul on the board, a favorable shop and glyph pool, and the best subdungeon draw in the game, there were lots of tools to win with here.

That said, I have been repeatedly impressed by "DICKLORD" (whoever that is) getting excellent times while going purist.

Ugh, I'm not going to like this. Chemist is one of my worst classes, and Cursed Oasis has a way of putting me on edge. Rat Monarch on this map would be hilariously painful, though.
