All I have to say about this is that I'm sold on the GG-Agnostic's Collar combo now.

Also, Monk with Halpmeh, lolol. Level 9 Gorgon at level 4, I think. Used one Protection.

Easy stuff. Went purist, faithless + unstoppable to keep myself from sloppiness. Hero's Helm is a deeply underrated item on Monks and the glyph loadout had Apheelsik and Imawal in it so I regen fought a level 9 Gorgon at level 4 for ludicrous bonus XP. In the end my damage was still kinda super-low for regenfighting Blahblah so I just potion spiked him.

faithless and specialist. At lvl 7 i found the martyr wraps and i could take 2 hit from Blahblah with tons of blackspace and halpme. Hidden subdungeon had good Glenrick, but it was very... hidden
anyway i'm reaching the top 10 again, 3 times i have lost at 16 win-streak, i hope this time i canbreak it ;)

Any base attack increase is incredibly welcome for the Monk.

Oh, I'm so dumb! Totally forgot about the fireball retaliation. I had the map under control, found the secret dungeon but hadn't gone in it yet. Lots of black space. Kicking butt everywhere and thought I'd take a couple free shots at the boss.

And then...clicked fireball...not just once...twice! Geez. I was going to convert that to avoid that very scenario.

Question: Is there a version indicator for DD? I got my copy from GOG and I saw mention of an update coming, but whenever I check within the game it says no updates available. Wondering how you know if you have the latest updates?

Possible "Secret" / Bug?

Just curious, did anyone also notice a player going by the name of "Madder" who topped the damage category in Cursed Oasis for the 2 recent dailies?

I think he got about 8k+ and 11k+ total damage when the normal damage numbers are only around 2 to at most 3k for everyone else.
And he achieved it with no preps at all.

If my memory serves me well, I think I have seen him (or possibly another user) achieve this feat (absurdly high damage numbers while "Purist") in at least 1 other map, should be CreepLight Ruins.

This leads me to think that there may be some bug / glitch that no one knows of which I suspect to be related to those "blinking" wraith monsters which steal your life every time you "re-discover" them again. Cos even if you purposely "repeat" poking them and re-discovering them, I don't think you will be able to take all the damage from them.

So, your thoughts on this?

[I gave it a little thought, perhaps it is possible. It means to have 1 of these monsters that deal very little damage to you, so like a level 1 one. While at the same time, you have very high health (high level, lots of bonus HP, etc.), and having lots of blackspace left for you to repeat hitting it and re-discovering it.]
