"Thinker", just without the "ache".

Vampire, Labyrinth

Ouch, this one is a killer. It was pretty close, but I made it. I used a lot of potions somewhat early, because all the key items and all the expendable CP were hiding. The RNG really shot this guy in the foot IMO, but at least the shop pool had something really nice... way too late and I couldn't afford it until I killed a boss.

Zot helped a lot, but could've helped more with better overall support.

Rex was surprisingly easy once I finally had all the pieces, but it was all uphill until that point.

This one was interesting.

Zotting made the leveling up a breeze, but also made regening through lifesteal trickier since exploring now only restored monsters to half health making them oneshotable. 200hp Rex definitely makes it worthwile, but it was an unusual Vampire progression for me.

Well, that went pleasantly smooth. I decided against Patches here; tempting as he is for the vampire, the thought of being teleported into a hallway and trapped between high-level monsters was not a pleasant one. The early ENDISWAL find made that a non-issue, but I didn't know it was present when I was prepping.

Zot was an excellent prep, but I used it differently than you guys: CP fodder. Getting the conversions rolling quickly is great for the vampire and lets you build momentum nicely. Started the boss fight at level 5 with Platemail and overheal to survive Rex, and unfortunately botched my blood cow harvesting and ended up leveling up to 7 when I killed Rex (preventing me from using that level-up against Jormungandr). None-the-less, I had too many resources remaining and with the platemail and high lifesteal I wasn't stopping any time soon.

Surprised there are so few winners today; this is pretty tame and forgiving as far as Labyrinth and Vampire goes. (and yes, I get that Vampire will be challenging for those who haven't unlocked him yet; he's very different from other classes, but he's also very powerful once you've figured him out).

Y'know, I was so eager for those CP that I forgot to leverage the flat bonuses at lower levels. Yeah, +5 HP is fine at level 1 and +3 MP remains relevant to the end-game. Still, once I had platemail it was CP stacking ahoy! Not even the BLUDTUPOWA Vampire Caster combo that presented itself could derail my focus once I saw platemail.

Here's my run in screenshots. Nothing to write home about, but maybe newer players can get something out of it,

Maybe other people explored differently, but 85-90% of the dungeon was explored when two glyphs AND Platemail all showed up. Until then, I was having a hard time getting any CP. It was awful. If you consider how bad that setup was if you forget about Platemail and hide two glyphs, then you'll see how hard that run could be.
