Well there's something I never knew. If Getanadafix is slowed and thus doesn't blink he doesn't spawn plants. I had 25 mana and a stupid amount of health so I could literally just fight him in one place, not that there was any particular reason to.

Took the Alchemist's Seal with JJ because it gets me to play things a little differently and forgot I had Namtar's Ward from the moment I shrank it to the win screen.

That was a lot more challenging than the last few! I thought I was going to lose even though I got to level 10 but I found one good spot to Weytwut the boss to and then just pummelled the crap out of him as I had 189 HP at that point.
The screen was filled with blue plants when I was done.
Cracked the top 10 for piety and stupidly forgot to pick a fourth start item.
The good, the bad and the ugly on this run.

I took the Alchemist Scroll thinking it was a Transmutation Seal ^^'
This has happened to me more times than I'm willing to write here. So many items in DD and, I think, only those 2 have the same icon (I'm ignoring the swords and helms since those are just improved versions).

Is this the 3rd plant-spawning map in a row? It would be funny to have Ick tomorrow.

Gorgon, Grimm's Grotto

JJ was hilariously unnecessary, even if it's a decent god for this class. Oddly enough, I explored the wrong direction and it took me a long time to find him regardless. I ended up worshiping two totally different gods altogether.

If I had known who the boss was and what the items were sooner, shopping would've been a lot simpler. I regretted Balanced Dagger, especially since I kept finding good high-level kills, and I couldn't buy the item combo that I really wanted. Still, it was pretty straightforward with resources to spare.

Gorgon never gets boxed in by the Grotto, so that's nice. All you have to do is take your time and pick your targets. HALPMEH shows up today, as well as some serpents. The class doesn't like Tormented One at all, but the items and gods available give you more than enough to work with. I didn't try to go Parched or anything, but you probably could with an appropriate choice of refill boon. It was especially nice having some help from the exploding signpost subdungeon as well.

I was tired and missclicked on a lvl5 opponent instead of a lvl1 next to him. I'm impressed at the flawless scores some of you manage to get.

If I had paid attention to who the boss was when I revealed it instead of just playing towards my class's strength's, I'd probably have won instead of sat around with an already converted fireball and no hope of assailing the boss. I felt really stupid for making such a mistake and honestly I make it way too often. At least I got to 8 instead of 1 this time.
