I think with assassin it's better keep Dracul when you reach high level, basically because you can't use lifesteal efficiently, every enemy, lower than you, will be killed and so you can't have lifesteal farm. In the other hand, you will have many bloodpools and before convert to Dracul you can drink all your hp potions. Specially in this map where there are a quite number of undead.
In my run, i was faithless until the fight against the drake boss (after i killed the shadow boss) and convert to Dracul only to kill the boss (i was out of blackspace), taking 2 boons of blood tithe and using blood curse to kill the lvl8 armor in one shot. Actually, i could kill the boss only with my health potion (i had prep keg of health potion), but i preferred use Dracul, to be safe

Dwarf Chemist, Northern Desert

Dracul was a fun prep for this map, and has more Dwarf Chemist synergy than I expected. Dwarf Chemist in mana form can have it all in a boss fight. Stone Sigil put the end-game piety spike through the roof, too. A dwarf with that much Sanguine regenerates so quickly. I even did Tower of Goo by BYSSEPS erosion spam - the level before, I popped Health Form at full mana and did one BYSSEPS per hit. I probably should've grabbed Martyr Wraps sooner, but Midas was taking up the slot. :(

I got greedy with Aequitas and used Schadenfreude to get the kill easily. I might've achieved the same with Strength given the power of BYSSEPS stacking, but I didn't think of that, and I forgot there would be another potion shop and that they share their inventory. But it was still ok in the end.

I still dislike Chemist. Dracul or some other spiking deity is a lifesaver, because it feels like you're playing parched with this class...

Sadly I became careless and angered TT at level 6, rendering all the popcorns I'd thus saved into horrible weakeners. Had to fight very very carefully in order to not die in a Normal difficulty map. If not for the several high-level kills while worshipping Taurog I'd probably not make it in the end... Binlor -> Taurog -> TT is pretty doable though.

By the way the daily has pretty terrbile entrance layout. No viable Cheeky target at level 1 and tons of dead ends. I wouldn't be surprised if some veterans slipped up in the beginning due to aggressive exploration/regen fighting. Slayer Wand could be very useful in hindsight (I just killed the two Wraiths without using it because I figured I'd quaff a Mana Potion at level 1 anyway)

I'm not a huge fan of the Chemist, either. I nearly dropped the ball today because I underestimated the resources I had for the Goo boss. I should have been whittling down his resistances all game so I could just fight him with health (which I did in the end, courtesy of Dracul). I'll have to be more cautious with the Chemist in the future; it's easy to forget you lack a safety net since those potions are fricken useless in the end-game.

Mana form is good against bosses or enemies where spellcasting is the only viable option, or to piety farm from Binlor or Mystera.

Mana Form lets you explore 3 tiles to deal 4x level in magic damage. So you're dealing 4/3 as much damage as a same-level enemy regenerates, not counting Burning. The arithmetic improves with Battlemage Ring, Mystic Balance, and (probably not worth it) Flames.

Still, you need to somehow have a ton of blackspace while being a high enough level in the first place.

I keep forgetting about the weaker potions that the chemists have, but at least I had enough blackspace left to regen fight the goo boss with fireballs. I found the altars late so I just went faithless, but Binlor would have been good to find early.

Score another one for not really liking Chemist. Still, I found on this map that CYDSTEPP is actually REALLY GOOD with Chemist; the second hit can be almost as empowered as the first due to being able to set up your first hit ahead of time, mana-wise, and I actually got off some seriously high level kills without even a catapult, and used the strategy to hit down Aequitas too. And they were boosted by IMAWAL to boot!

But of course, Chemist reminds me why he's such a pain when it came time for Tower of Goo, as the mana form regen I was reduced to wasn't exactly working very well, plus I mishandled a LOT of the fight. I often had to spend mana to dig walls around monsters to get to blackspace, setting me back, and in the end I had to down all the health potions I had for the meager amount of health to two hit mid tier enemies and get the level up.

Also I think I got cheeky but I'm not sure. If I did it was just by building up BYSSEPS stacks right from the start.
