Very easy one. Might miss the next couple of days because of family stuff. We'll see.

That was the most fun I've ever had in losing a level.

Note to Zazz: read the fine print. Your lifesteal occurs AFTER the monster hits you. You can die when the attacker strikes first, even though your life steal would otherwise raise your HP level.

Was doing really well, compared to the one other time I tried playing a vamp. Killed Aequitas at level 7, lots of blood bags on the board and just took out a pesky level 7 wraith. Went back to my favourite bloodbag for a refill and BAM dead.

Wish I could have seen the look of surprise on my face. I know it was there.

Dumb mistake...but a fun level nonetheless.

There's also a lot of overheal allowed with lifesteal. So striking first is almost never bad. (I think 150% is the highest you can go? Not sure.)

Human Monk, Havendale Bridge

Preps, shop items and deities (well, TT wasn't really useful) compensate quite well for a suboptimal race/map. It felt as if I was playing rat, but without any rat-related issues =D

I'm slightly disappointed 2nd boss wasn't Jorg.

2015/07/24: Human Monk on Havendale Bridge

Well, that's not a setup you see everyday. It's...pretty optimal I guess? Monk is great with Really Big Sword. Imps and the Bridge Troll has high physical resistance. There's WEYTWUT and PISORF this side of the reiver. You are a human with a Sensation Stone. etc. etc. And you can get if you choose that certain preparation.

I played a bit sloppily and mistimed my buys, so no shenanigans. 65% phys resist Dracul Monk straight-up brawling SMM without regen is pretty awesome though. :P

Stubbed my toe to death with platemail on my popcorn by being too quick. Having lifesteal makes it more confusing too, because it looks like you're taking less damage than you really are until that final hit. Had a good streak going, but that's the way it goes, I guess.

Feel a bit sad looking at the leaderboard but a very generous dungeon with all the preps.
