"§%&!

I'm never gonna use IMAWAL on that map again. My streaks get literally buried.

Laaaaaaame. I've had enough resources to defeat the bosses twice, and then I get beaten by shifty brickwork. Arrrgh.

Was visiting my folks and didn't have time to finish yesterday's daily, which is a bit of a shame. Still, beat my last streak.

Right after I lost this dungeon, 20/20 hindsight kicked in and I thought of at least 3 different approaches I could have used in my last two moves to beat this dungeon. At least walls weren't an issue.

Sad to see so many top 10ers drop out this week.

I finally beat shifting passages. I really dislike gods, mainly because I don't choose them well and don't make the best of their advantages...but I'm learning.

So, and this is where it makes no sense...I chose an extra altar as one of my startups. Go figure.

But then I didn't really use it. Towards the end I chose Dracul so that I could get the healing from the blood pools.
I probably wouldn't have made it if the subdungeon didn't offer up a bunch of juicy zombies which put me up to level 8.

The bosses fell pretty easily once I got to level 10. I thought Evolvia would be harder but it turned out the mace kept him/her/it in control. Only teleported once from a fireball and that put him in front of balls that I bashed him through.

The last time this dungeon came up I managed to box myself in, literally, and had to abort.
Just glad I avoided that mistake today.

Yeah. I think only rogue would have a first strike priority in this scenario against Evolvia because of class ability. Now we have to wonder if the second hit (retaliate) is subject to the deathgaze effect which has highest priority wrt strike order. Almost sounds like a bug. My feeling is that if your first strike shows no death, the free strike should still be death free.
