Finally we get to play as Disleckia in a DERP!

For those of you who want top XP, there is an ENDISWAL and a Glenrick, on top of Yendor, GG, and TT...

Yeah, I ran about 20 XP shy of Tinker's amount. I think I probably lost out on using the absolutions, faffing around with Enlightenment and not desecrating GG because I was enjoying looking at the giant health bar too much.

@ ~'(^ + ^)'~: congrats on the XP! That's a helluva lot more than what I did. I think based on your write-up that I might've been a bit tighter in my leveling kills, but you kept WEYTWUT to teleport the popcorn (earning extra slow XP for each), whereas I converted it on sight; and you juggled your piety much better than I did, which afforded you earlier learning and a swap back for Enlightenment. I gotta remember not to auto-convert teleport spells when I'm gunning for XP...

Plus, it's that I particularly don't enjoy Binlor piety farming, and in general tend to stay clear of him. Which kinda limits my piety intake, and also prevents me from taking advantage of scenarios like today's...

@Tinker: Thanks, :) I usually try to find a balance between getting XP and Piety (trying to max both) and so I don't auto-convert anything (glyph) that I get.

Plus, Wonafyt is such a great glyph for getting extra XP, especially useful at low levels when you don't have the ability to get very high level kills. And just using up all those MP you get through exploring the map may end up giving you a very big head start with Mystera if you happen to find her first.

I guess I am so used to this playstyle I have for dailies that I forgo any early advantage from glyph conversion. You know, I try not to convert any at all in the hopes that that they can net me more piety (GG, Taurog for glyphs conversion). Also, I may forego picking up the first 1 or 2 glyphs I find and postpone them for other "better" glyphs that I am sure I can make use of for the rest of the run - For example, Bysseps and maybe Lemissi (will leave these on the ground if my inventory is quite packed already which is like most of the time with all the preps).

Usually, I can get within top 5 if not in the top 10 for both XP and Piety (usually top for this one). Sometimes, it depends on luck because if I don't prep any gods, then I think the end results will vary based on how the run pans out.

Wow! wow... just a crazy and stupid ending for me on this one. (Gnome Warlord, Southern Swamp)

So, I started on the boss at level 4 with a Whupaz, leveled up, then did the Warlord thing to take us both down to what looked like one hit. Now of course I could have used a couple of potions to survive, but since I had 3 mana left over I thought, "Nah, I'll just pick up the GETINDARE and use that." So, I do, and then I click on Jorm, noticing the Death warning at the same time!

But...the mace saved me. Even though he killed me first, the knockback was enough to finish him off, securing the win. I think for the next couple of games I'll be playing a little more carefully.

I saw the Dracul prep so I just went for a silly 1hp warlord, which wasn't too bad since I used the crystal ball to get 3 hits on higher level kills. If other classes drop to 1hp they can also chain CYDSTEPP despite not being a warlord.

With a gnome warlord, and both dracul and conjunction available, today is a good day to go for low xp!

I find it kind of funny that you can grab cheeky before you even move a square. Otherwise, pretty standard stuff.
