Health form is similar to regen fighting with HALPMEH, which is useful when your net damage is higher than the enemy's net damage or when it's a bad idea to use BURNDAYRAZ. So it works badly with a dwarf, especially with no resistances.

Seeing that today's win rate is rather low (slightly more than 20 winners), maybe some info can help players who haven't attempted it:

1. Avoid the pitfall of prepping both EM and Vampiric Blade (You can still do it, provided that you are not planning to start worshiping her, rather just leaving her for the end game to do mana spiking for fireballs, etc.)

2. This is more of a spoiler. Today's default gods are EM, TT and Mystera.

3. More spoilers (Super Meat Man is the second boss, and there's only 4 Tokoloshe charms you can get for 20% MR against the Zombie boss).

4. Between Mana Boosters, Bear Mace and Translocation Scroll, I would say the last 2 are more viable. Bear Mace increases your damage and lets you gain access to the secret sub (which gives tons of gold for fueling TT piety). Transloc can be useful, there's FireHeart and Badge of Honour (but inventory is packed today so you got to decide what to pick up and keep and what to leave on the ground).

5. Really Big Sword is really useful for killing the Bridge Troll and the few Tokoloshes.

6. Vampiric Sword is also pretty useful by helping conserve resources (you can also use it to recover life from lower level mobs to do higher level kills, when fighting bosses, etc.)

7. TT is really useful for both bosses. Dodge + Reflex works beautifully (you can precast Bysseps up to 3 times at least to maximize the damage you deal). Be careful with your piety since you need many hits to down SMM, but there should be enough lower level mobs for piety to avoid getting punished by him.

8. You can start with EM, but my recommendation is to leave her untouched. Only make use of her in the end if you are absolutely out of resources. Just be careful and know that she doesn't like lifeStealing so try not to get punished by her if you are going to hit mobs with Vampiric Blade on you. Green Blood (corrosion) + Clearances will allow you to cast many fireballs and max your fireball damage to SMM.

9. My recommendation if you haven't prepped any gods is to go Mystera->TT->EM.

10. (Spoilers) Both Lemissi and Bludtopowa are best left on the ground for end game use (lets you access many more tiles that otherwise would be wasted). Of course, Bludtopowa can be used if you are going the caster route right from the start. This pertains more to if you are using melee or a mixed style.

Well, I can either throw away my 0-game winning streak altogether, or I can give this Chemist DERP a shot. Bleh.

Most of the time I ignore potions with the chemist, today was perfect with a prepped JJ and a late game TT to use the potions for health, mana and reflexes.

I would think that if you can just make it to a high level with ample blackspace remaining, then single-BYSSEPS in Health Form should go a long way against SMM. But I suck at Chemist.

Actually, with Fine Sword and Vampiric Blade today, health form isn't required. Your damage output would be much higher than SMM's with casting of Bysseps and Fireball to cut down on his regen and to max your damage per tile regened. Yeah, and LifeStealing from lower level mobs while fighting him also helps you to regen life.

Normally, I would feel pretty unsafe when playing Chemist but today with the preps, there wasn't any "real threat" felt.

i am a little late, but anyway Vampire Cursed Oasis got me, i spent most of my popcorn too soon and fight the drake boss was impossible. If i remember correctly it was another Vampire Cursed oasis run, which i have lost too. It's time to train that map with that class/race.

Anyway in a couple of days i will go to holidays, so see you after the 15th august.

This is a really good setup for a chemist. Vamp Blade, Mystera, Keg of Mana, Bear Mace; Havendale with Super Meat Man as boss 2. Went for a piety potion, blew a lot of stuff killing the Bridge Troll though I think bribing him would have been safer. After that, using the Mystera setup to kill a lot of higher level enemies with fireballs and mana potions, started on Meat at level 7 with the Fine Sword, then it was just health potions and regen-fighting vs 2 very low damage bosses.
