Parched and a top ten time, much happier than the last vamp run. I personally kept all the cultists around for the easy regen fighting. @Tinker, I think most of us deserved our loss on that one. I certainly did.

With map like this I think it is important to note that sometimes getting more attack can be harmful. So don't automatically pick up attack boosters when you find them. If those attack boosters improve your attack so that you kill your bloodcows they can easily cause more harm than good.

The blood altar subdungeon -> How does it differ for Vampire or characters with Sanguine (like Bloodmage or anyone who have got it from Dracul) and those without?

I noticed today that it refills both HP and MP bars. Don't remember that it refills the MP bar (maybe I had my mana bar full all the other times I used it previously).

Plus, I seem to recall it gives "Drink Blood" (was it 5% or 10%?) for characters who don't have Sanguine.

And last question, does it differ if used when you have full health and when you don't?

[Took a look at Wiki, says it gives 5% Sanguine if you don't have it or fully heals you if you already do. Not sure about the MP bar refilling part, is it only for Vampires or anyone who already has Sanguine.]

Vampire, Creeplight Ruins

I need to play more runs with the Vampire. I have no real working knowledge of all the intricacies of the life-steal mechanic. I know the rules (at least in general) but I seldom think about them or understand all the details while playing. I play more like: “Okay, that kill didn’t heal me for some reason, so let’s punch something else and hope that it’ll provide me with some health.” It is quite funny to steal back the life-steal overheal HP from lower-level Shades, though. In the end, I finished one blood pool short of “Feeling Parched” as I had to drink a health potion to be able to kill the last lvl9 monster. After all, the run turned out to be much easier than I had expected. I didn’t even notice the Platemail until I had the boss down to its third form. A Shade must have blinked onto the tile with the shop. (I have no idea whether that is even possible, but that is my version of the story and I’ll stick to it. :D)

I checked the blood altar with full bars and it didn't add an extra 5% like it usually does.

Vampire in CO, Creeplight and, some time ago, Labyrinth. Vampire in Shifting Passages some time soon?
I hope the android daily counts for that one.

Human BloodMage, Northern Desert

Gods:
Something I didn't think about until after converting BLUDTOPOWA, is you can still use it after depleting the blackspace, so that you can gain mana from your bloodpools.

I hardly used BLUDTOPOWA this run. Most of my run was about race and religion, until I drank a bunch of blood pools for both bosses. Martyr Wraps, Piercing Wand, and BURNDAYRAZ with blood pools was plenty for Goo as the second boss. Aequitas with double Boost Health and lots of blood pools was easy, and it was also the last time that I used WEYTWUT before converting for BURNDAYRAZ.
