Oh wow.

2015/08/27, Doubledoom, Goatperson

So basically I revealed that first boss and then promptly forgot about the map is Doubledoom. I actually used IMAWAL on quite a few monsters (because hey, this isn't Grimm's Grotto! I can totally deal with this!), and only found out that second boss when there's no blackspace left.

Stressful, to say the least.

Luckily the RNG has been pretty kind and Earthmother boons helped a lot. Bought and converted everything and spiked like there's no tomorrow. Feels good man.

Wow. Binlor is a real dick today.

I didn't want to prep JJ because I didn't know if I was going to be able to earn any piety, but the RNG actually favors JJ today. The dependence on first-religion glyph perks to make piety screws goat runs over so hard sometimes.

Basically, the altars were all giant "this is where I'd spend my piety.... IF I HAD ANY" memes.

IMAWAL sucks on a goat. You either spend it on popcorn and don't have any food, or you spend it on higher levels and don't ever get any XP. It's such a losing venture, even if it's the only way to get enough piety to buy a freaking ENDISWAL. Not that there was enough blackspace left to farm piety by the time I bounced back.

GG was nice enough to give me something like 15 piety, though. 20 or so if you count sprinkles.

I bravely ran away like brave, brave, brave Sir Robin.

I started level 1 worshipping Binlor which made that prepped shield completely useless. I really wish the goat had some starting piety to make him not suck so much. I did find the secret subdungeon (more monsters aka food) as well as a couple more glyphs to help with leveling. Binlor continued to be a dick, leaving me with almost no piety until the fight with SMM where I converted a bunch of stuff under GG. My next level gave me Earthmother which was great against Aequitas. I finished with a fair amount of resources to spare and cleaned up the map.

What time do the dailies reset. I don't think my lunch break will be enough to beat Doubledoom with a Goat.
