Goatperson, Doubledoom

Well, I played really badly and I absolutely deserved to die. I didn’t prepare the Transmutation Seal because I knew that Binlor would be on the map. :| I prepared the Alchemist’s Scroll and converted lots of potions early on. :( I used WEYTWUT on a level 8 bandit who had three unrevealed tiles around him and got healed out of killing range by the teleport. :? I punched a snake although I knew that leveling up would not remove the poison. I was at level 7 and had no health potions left and was not worshipping GG. Then I found SMM as the first boss and thought it would be a good idea to start regen-fighting him – without any means to regen health. :x This run was pure stupidity on my part.

Just noticed that Tinker hit the triple digits with her win streak today - that deserves a hearty congratulations. Not quite the fanfare when Astral did it first, but still awesome none-the-less.

And sorry to hear about the loss, Haaxtus. Anyone can lose on a Goatperson daily.

After finding Good Glenrick at 1st level, I decided to make this a challenge: stay monotheism GG and go for hoarder. I succeeded easily, starting the fight with Aequitas as soon as I found him (5th-6th level battle) then slaughtering Goo with cleansing strikes immediately after (6th-7th level battle). Just filled my inventory with the final cleansing hit. Parched, of course.

So much easier. Stabber is one of those things that scales well with lowering the difficulty for big bonus XP, and GG is glad to help. He can deduct piety for potions as he wants, because it's not like you need that many Absolutions to tank hits in a Normal dungeon. Easily had enough for three consecrations with a buffer for potions at the end.

If Tinker surpasses Goat on the leaderboard, does that make the Tinker's ending canon if there's ever a DD2?

Grabbed 7 badges. Purist, Parched, Unstoppable and Faithless, notably. Pretty nice little run. Not many edges surrounding the starting earlier until you reach the Fine Sword. Some very nice 3 level higher kills with Endiswal and Burning backing up the bonus damage on unharmed enemies.

Edit: Congrats, Tinker - with the consistency of your play I can't say I'm terribly surprised but you've done us all proud :)
