That officially topped Rat Monarch as the deadliest daily ever, with only 7 winners. Yikes, nasty stuff. Still disappointed in losing; if I'd only seen Earthmother was the bigger threat than Dracul for an early deity screw and gone for the Wicked Guitar... oh well.

Anyways, today was a nice run. I'm currently holding top XP, and had I considered it I could have kept converting stuff to hit top piety too. However, anyone who wants to eclipse me can easily do so if they book it to the far side of the bridge without worshiping anyone: Earthmother is over there.

Today's run was very relaxing. I just regret not prepping GG. I was hoping he would spawn anyway, but turned out it was Dracul, EM and Binlor. It was fun using Halpmeh while worshipping Dracul with no punishment when I was at 0 piety. Halpmeh, bloodpools, lifesteal (of popcorn) and Bloodshield made for easy boss fights.

The Bridge Troll dropped as collateral when I was lvl 4.

Halfling Rouge, The Slime Pit

Well that sounded like a pile of not fun. It turned out to be real tense and I barely... BARELY squeaked by. I must have come up just short like 9 different ways of getting a level-up refill, or piety for some clearance, or whatever else I was going for, but in the end converting nearly everything I had for more health potions and attacking managed to just barely save the day. I needed every one of those 4 or so dodges on SMM.

Slime Pit with Halfling Rogue was a bit of a challenge. GG+CYDSTEPP carried the leveling phase. I ended up hoarding my potions, but it was ok because it made up for using up all of my blackspace.

If you go GG, don't forget about the Consecrated Strike buff from GG! I almost forgot about it. Anyway, I had a hard time having enough piety to convert out - I had to convert a couple potions and BURNDAYRAZ after Tower of Goo. Then I joined Taurog the Forgiving, picked up the Armor, and potion-fought Super Meat Man.

Maybe there were other ways to do it, but Consecrated Strike to leverage Rogue against Tower of Goo is pretty nice. It was also probably possible to start Taurog for the piety farm, but I didn't know what or where the other gods were and Rogue starting GG is pretty standard good stuff anyway.

I saw some Earthmother picks on the leaderboard. Goo would go down to a good Clearance blasting, so yeah. Would be easier to regen-fight SMM with all those Vine Forms first as well. Also, more efficient leveling from IMAWAL is always nice on this map too.
