Gorgon, Den of Danger

I expected this to be easier, but all the wrong enemies were all the wrong levels, and the BURNDAYRAZ was hiding, as was the only diety other than Taurog/Pactmaker. The fight with SMM would've gone faster if I'd converted more glyphs sooner, but I wasn't thinking that far ahead. I got Parched, but the run still felt sloppy and aimless overall.

Shop pool with Elite items was awesome. Early Gloves of Midas and (translocated) Dwarven Gauntlets really made this one a breeze. There was also a Martyr Wraps in hiding, which would have been awesome for the boss battle but I was just about to deliver the killing blow when I uncovered it so it didn't matter. Joined Binlor for Stone First and Stone Form and proceeded to kick SMM's ass.

This was a little scary at first, as I have very little experience with the Gorgon, but it clicked quickly. Plus, you know, it's the Den of Danger. Prepped JJ, killed the boss without needing Chaos Avatar.

Figured since it was only the Den of Danger I'd be fine playing it quickly first thing in the morning, then misclicked and died to a level 3 goblin. Oh well. Lesson learned, I suppose!

Hit the badges I was aiming for with Faithless/Miser. Couldn't quite squeak Parched out though I'm sure with slightly better play it was possible. Wasted a lot of exploration at level 1 trying to kill Dragonspawn for no reason.

Playing the DERP while feverish is not really smart!

I played the whole level without remembering that Gorgons are poisonous.
Not a big deal in Den of Danger until I went after the SMM
