Half-Dragon, Labyrinth

Boss 2 was hiding, but that little bit of RNG screwing was more than offset by some other random things being pretty favorable. Half-Dragon Binlor, farm up an ENDISWAL, deal with almost anything. I ended up using Stone Heart a couple times just because the walls were screwed up and I didn't want to kill a high-level Gorgon though. First-world problems.

Nasty layout, that one. Binlor for ENDISWAL was an absolute must-have. I was fortunate I still had all my gold for the subdungeon - would have sucked to have been counting on blackspace only to find the grove of knowledge.

That was a toughie. Crazy monster layout....and for some reason I never thought to get the Endiswal from Binlor. Rookie mistake, but I've been playing it long enough I can't use that excuse anymore. :-)

In the end, I was stuck with high level monsters blocking the entrance to a single long hallway and I had no way to break through, so I retired.

I had to fiddle around with monster positions at first, and let them regenerate a bit. But I made sure I got ENDISWAL ASAP. After you have that, you don't have to worry as much about lining up wall shots (except for when you want the obscene bonus damage).

I actually leveled up off of knocking a high-level goblin into Jorg, so it worked out. Since blackspace was running out, I did have to use Stone Heart to get around the walls without wasting mana.
