If you're going to have the difficulty change based on your win-streak, I'd do something similar to the gauntlet from the alpha with accumulating monster power for each win (capping out at Vicious Token level power). Unfortunately, this would make streaks more luck-based since many of the dailies we've had so far (Goatperson especially) would be effectively impossible with vicious token.

Gnome Chemist, Eastern Tundra

I went full Taurog, ended Warmonger. I... I'm not really sure EXACTLY why anymore, but I do know I did it with the intent that that was the best way to approach the map, not because I was going for medals. Healthform Taurog is pretty strong though, especially with the Keg letting me use it all the time and an early Fine Sword + Health Pendant to give me a head start. I guess I was looking for some guaranteed endgame here, since potion race conversion on a Chemist is mostly a fat lot of useless and the boss has Retaliate: Fireball meaning I was not guaranteed a good way to spend my mana for him.

I just went with whatever gods spawned. Mystera to hit the 16 MP mark was good enough.

I could've done better with XP if I'd used IMAWAL. But I got some extra XP for the lulz from Pactmaker (Alchemist's Pact). Basically the Gnome-to-Goblin race converter. I really didn't use the potion forms much. Just Health Form once for one of the meat men, and that's it.

Platemail with BYSSEPS stacking is pretty decent for this map and boss, so I didn't bother with anything fancy. I didn't even get Mystic Balance, because of BYSSEPS and retaliate:fireball...

With Patches and Body Pact, I ended up with 34% resists after mopping up. Used Mana Form a couple of times to speed up BYSSEPS and burning stacks on high level kills. Patches poisoned me 3 times to no effect, because I was able to level up each time without needing to regenerate health.

Hmm... can Patches teleport you to stairs? Because if I was whisked away to the secret dungeon, I'd have no way out!

So, since yesterday I overexplored and almost couldn't kill the bosses, today I tried to spiked the boss early.

With a Chemist.

As a potion race.

Without revealing enough glyphs to convert.

Against a Fireball Retaliate Boss.

....

Well at least it worked out alright. I did forgot to use BYSEPPS before using Reflex+Dodge, but at least I didn't take Flames before that... Now *that* would be stupid.

Mana Form is pretty good here though. Used it constantly throughout the levels. Also interesting subdungeon for those aim for high XP. Additional info for all those limit-pushers:
