Goblin Crusder in Halls of Steel
Nice and easy one; lots of great preps, the Orb of Lusory is close to the dungeon entrance, and generally no nasty surprises. Went with JJ/EM prep, explored until I found an apothecary then desecrated for petition. Indomitable went down to 50% magic resistance, then a level-up catapult followed by chaos avatar did in Jormungandr. Ended Parched, Hoarder, and with loads of untouched blackspace.

It's funny how ineffective the knockback strategy is on vanilla Halls of Steel. Not that Jormungander is a tough boss or anything.

There were way too many Elite items by default. I don't know which one was the prep.

LEMMISI made it easier to find the Orb, so that's cool. Crusader is also immune to 60% of the JJ punishments. Some things about the setup were convenient like that. Since it wasn't too hard, I went for XP, but I didn't really crush it or anything. Considering that we had a Goblin with JJ and Yendor, Tony Danza+2 probably didn't keep me at top XP on the charts for long. But I did take a tip and made sure to do Chaos Avatar after already being 10, because apparently XP is funny like that.

The dungeon layout in today's daily is unbeatable going in Purist, unless I missed something (Please tell me I didn't miss one dark spot with the Orb of Lusory in the start area. All exits are blocked by higher level magic mobs.

@~'(^ + ^)'~ Please consider taking at least JJ for Weytwut.

My experience was the same as William's. I had a prep that could have saved me if I was more careful. But the Orb of Lusory was not close to the entrance. Edit: and I know what else I should have done, oh well :)

Yep. Same story. Wrong prep, almost instant death. Survived the initial enclosure only by converting my preps. Purist is no-go.

This layout highlights my one true dislike of this game. There are some dungeons where you are bound to lose if you don't have just the write item(s). The gold level class challenges are another example of this.

Today was pretty much a waste of 90 seconds if you didn't prep correctly.
