I didn't realize today was so sensitive. I just used JJ's glyph a ton and never thought about it much. Sorry to hear that Purist is a bit over the top today.

Doable IF you have enough equipment/potions to get a conversion in...... I did not choose options that gave me enough equipment. (I did have the bear mace.)

Once again, I am reminded why I reflexively take JJ any time he's available. That WEYTWUT glyph saves runs.

Well reading the initial comments did give the impression of an easy run, which was not entirely true, depending on which preps you picked. Starting in an area blocked off by monsters towards all corridors can be very difficult, as can be seen from some of the less fortunate fates. A little caveat might have made William's day a tad bit less frustrating... :o

Though it's true that once the initial welcoming committee was avoided/dealt with, the map proved to be relatively easy, and as the Crusader is immune to Poison, Jörmungandr is also less dangerous than, like, ever. ;) Went mono-JJ, again forgot about the Vamp in the sub, and messed up killchain a bit, but otherwise got decent XP overall thanks to massive bar boosts, WEYTWUT, and that final Yendor (which incidentally spawned instead of the Tower Shield).

I do see lots of different prep loadouts winning the map, I don't think JJ was persay necessary, because if you had any way to knock monsters / boost health / buy Yendor / etc., you could get out from the tight spot, and then the map was doable in probably more ways than one. Winrate's in low 30%s, which is not surprising given how certain prep combinations simply did not have enough punch to get out from the first area.
"Thinker", just without the "ache".

Yeah, as others have said knockback or teleport is the way to go for any claustrophobic maps. I bear-maced the level 2 out of the way and continued as normal. I didn't prep elite items since i figured my inventory would go to GG and my money to the CB. Once you get a level or two above the illusions, cleansing works great for dispatching them.

I noticed something with the bear mace that I don't understand and could possibly be a bug. In this pic I have a wraith lined up to KB into a warlock, but there is no indication of KB damage. When I stood on the shop the indicator was exactly the same. My damage was 5 + 35%, so even taking a quarter from the base damage and rounding down it should have been at least 1 KB damage. Unless the physical resist works on KB or the mace is less than 25% when bumping into another enemy?
