*SPOILERS* Dailies Thread

I treaded carefully today, as I always do with the Rat. I used my health-based resources to fight Bjorn, then used a quicksilver to land some corrosion on Bleaty and then unloaded all my mana-based resources on top of him. Thanks to that lovely subdungeon I could afford to purchase everything I wanted, so it wasn't too bad. Still had two mana potions left over when I was done. Planned to join Taurog and use GG desecration and Pactmaker Consensus to go for Unstoppable Fury once I ran out of spellcasting resources, but that wasn't necessary.

I was disappointed that I didn't find the Balanced Dagger until it was too late to put it to much use, but being positioned off in the corner like that it wasn't exactly unexpected.

Went with Taurog to help deal with popcorn and for damage reduction, so as to not use up a lot of black space. Prepped the Smuggler's Den but forgot about it. Saw who the second boss was, so I insta-converted all glyphs except the IMAWAL and BURNDARAZ I started with. Power leveled with IMAWAL about four times then converted for more Taurog equipment space. Berzerker boss was straight-forward with a level up spike to 8. Then Reflex potion, along with 3 Unstoppable Furies finished off Bleaty. I was able to clear the board and buy from every shop I could see. I guess I covered up the Honor Badge with a petrified zombie without realizing it.

So, I went to check the boards, my alter-ego guy is topping Piety in record time again - almost 1.5 times piety of the second position, in around 12 mins.

Seriously, if this guy is that great, I am expecting to see him slowly go up to the top of the charts.


@Tinker: It's fine, I didn't expect the second boss to be Bleaty and thought it would be doable with just 1 prep.

So, I have given some serious thought, I am going back to full preps just so to be able to push up to 100 (and to "compete" with my alter-ego guy, nah).

Thanks! I don't remember exactly, but I think Burndayraz spawned right at the start. I converted everything else and found a way to tunnel through the choking points with the coward monsters and killing monsters my level or one above, I think also using potions early. In the early game the -5 Damage taken from Taurog were very helpful. I converted all the glyphs on sight, used imawal once. I saved my gold for the first boss and afterwards killed Bleaty with the badge, Dodge from the potion, 3 of Taurog's death protections and a fireball.

Sounded fun, so I did it for the first time since losing a few days back. Would've been hard without Bear Mace. Maybe some shenanigans with Mage Plate and Mana Pendant might've worked out in the end, but it would've been a mess. It took a lot of cue balls and a bunch of shop refills and level-ups to kill Bleaty.
