Only saw 1 Purist victory (berpdreyfuss) when I started, so I decided why not, I should join my Purist brothers today, when I ended, I saw there was another Purist victory, someone named vargus.

Played extremely sloppily today, not making use or unable to make use much of blood-cows. Glyphs were all useful, Cydstepp, Burndyaraz, Endiswall, Getindare, Pisorf (did convert Cydstepp and Pisorf later). Map was almost fully explored and I was only level 5, so I just went to clear the Zombie gold sub, wasting a potion or two.

I guess having all the gold helped (both from Zombie Gold and secret sub) though I only spent them after completing the map (the Vampire Blade in inventory was useful nonetheless).

Expended everything (well almost) to kill everything, the curses management part was a little tricky. A little surprised to see that I got top XP today, considering I played sloppily (perhaps my sloppy play forced me to kill the bosses at early levels, 6 and 7 and that made the difference). Yeah, most probably people could have gotten higher XP if they made full use of their resources to nail the bosses at even earlier levels since many finished parched and/or not having made much use of blood-pools.

Once you're comfortable with him, taking the Vampire into Vicious Gaan-Telet is always fun. The vamp is by far the easiest way to win VGT.
