Pretty damn scary run for me, given this was my first ever as a goatperson. Level 2 Dracul lifesteal and getting Wonafyt at the very start gave me ample amounts of popcorn to end up toppling things 2-3 levels higher than me at level 4-6. Where I really screwed myself over was at level 8, getting pinned with no access to half of the map, out of food, with the only monster available was the goblin boss - my max hp was slightly too low to avoid getting oneshotted by him, so I had to buy 3 vineform upgrades in late game to allow me to sneak in attacks between 2 costly conversion heals. On top of that my crystal ball was sitting at 39 stacks, but I was stuck at 3 gold because poor decisions. Because I burned all of my piety, I ended up eating 4 EM punishments from my lifesteal in order to clean monsters up to level up out of EM, but thankfully. between the boss gold and the apothecary prep, getting burn salve to clear it was easy. Once I got opened up to the part of the map I was blocked off from and with the much needed gold, handling Evolvia was a walk in the park.

Surving a hit from Lord Gobb was quite hard with today's goat, some vine form and the pendant of health (and also later on some resists) made it possible though. Leveling is always the hard part with the goat, during the run I had several occasions in which I seemed to run out of food, but never needed to explore without food. Endiswal was also handy to destroy some walls which I allowed to form. However, I killed a lot of low and same level enemies for which WONAFYT proved useful as a cheap WEYTWUT... In the end though I had plenty resources left over and finished parched.

The good news, I made it today \ :D /, getting top spots for everything except time (slowest).

I would have lost if I had given up at the beginning. There were many occasions, I had to convert stuff, quaff potions, squeeze gods, just to be able to survive. It was nasty, not having food, literally killing 1 guy at a time for a measly 10 (thereabouts) food just to be able to peek a few more tiles to find another suitable enemy or to regen to tackle the next guy. Just look at the attached screen, basically I had to do the above right first when I had to kill a L4 guy at L2, then a L6 at L3, then a L7 at L4, etc. Had to use prepped scroll to open the way (didn't help that the kills I had no choice but to make spawned walls at the wrong places). That L8 changeling I had to kill at L5, I was walled in then, had no choice but to kill it, had to convert a glyph, use reflex, quaff potions, even convert off my Crystal Ball just to survive.

Things only got better after that, especially after I found Wonafyt and later Endiswall. Wonafyt is so close to the start, and I had explored in all other directions except there. My run would have been less scary if I had explored differently.

Another thing about my run: Dracul hates me today. I have been ping-ponging between EM and MA (alternating perfectly, L1 EM, L2 MA, L3 EM, L4 MA, ...), it's as if Dracul is not there at all. The odds of getting this distribution is two-thirds to the power of 10, that's like 1.7%, could have gotten Dracul if the other 98+ % just succeeded.

Just glad that I made it ...

~'(^ + ^)'~, any particular reason to buy out all the shops?
Maybe just to show others the shop pool. ;)

I found WONAFYT very early, said "fuck it" and smacked a couple slowed L1s to get out of low level/food danger hell. I didn't find Balanced Dagger until I was already fighting Gobb. I think Fine Sword + BURNDAYRAZ was enough to take out the occasional 1-higher enemy, though.

I personally did fine surviving Gobb with the help of Blood shield + Pendant of Health around L7. I had been cursed earlier but took care of it with 2-3 Greenbloods. I think I also chose at some point not to fight an appropriately leveled bandit to keep my curse stacks in check.

Gnome Warlord in Magma Mines
An easy one after yesterday's nail-biter. JJ and Mystera are both available, so you have your choice of which flavor of optimal Gnome Warlord you wish to use. I took both, and Dracul happened to be the final deity in case you didn't have enough options already. Simple and straightforward.
