Gorgon in Creeplight Ruins
Overall a nice run; Glenrick is very close to the start, and the only reason I didn't find him at level 1 was because two very easy level 2's were even closer to the entrance. Sadly, I didn't find the boss until I'd complete exploration so no poison antics against form 1, but I had more than enough resources to just completely power through all three forms. Although I found JJ late, I was still able to use him for a chaos avatar finisher thanks to EM making easy desecration fodder.

I offed the sacrificial goat WAY too early and got so much life stolen from me to really throw my leveling off. Still, with Glenrick this was a really easy run so it didn't mean I lost; I just ended up using nearly all my potions rather than probably pulling off Parched.

My gorgon ended up being pretty mighty at level 10, with 3 (three) total damage...

Great balls of fire, so much fireball damage. Sacrificed the goat at level 5 with three quarter revealed and blasted through the boss forms with schadenfreude, JJ heal and couple of mana potions.

Halfling Thief, The Slime Pits

Good early game items in the starting area, along with the vampire plants for some additional base damage. Late game fireballs were kind of hilarious with Mysteria and Battlemage and Blue Bead and Mage Plate; I think it only took like 5 shots to take down the Tower. There are lots of tools here.

Halfling Thief, The Slime Pits

I went with Patches, got some base damage from the veg vampire. Found Mystera and Weywutt, popcorned everything and got the 60 piety boon asap, along with the glyph conversion one. I got 5 max mana from Patches and +4% resists, tried to level canon the Slime boss at level 5, only for Patches to mana burn me, so i converted him, chugged a mana potion, and finished off the Slime with all my mana potions.

After that, I found the secret dungeon in the lower right corner, next to a pisorf glyph, which was handy. Used them to level cannon on Meat Man, I had 11 health potions and plenty of health from the Dragon heart. There was a battlemage ring in the top part anyway, so prepping it wasn't needed, unless you want +2 fireball damage per level.

I forgot to WHUPAZ Super Meat Man

Oh well, didn't matter; started the boss fight against Goo at level 4, did some level-up catapults to slaughter him, then proceeded to whittle away Super Meat Man without trouble. Still had half my potions left and all but one of my glyphs (converted it primarily to open up some inventory space)

Ah, my favorite subdungeon. The best I could do was 2x base attack, 1x attack bonus, 1x conversion bonus. Anyone find a better set?

Nice dungeon with no bad surprises.

One thing still freaks me out, though. It's the dodge ability. It always works when I least expect it. Usually it kicks in whenever I drink a Schadenfreude potion. Goes like this:

1. Drink potion.
2. Strike monster.
3. Say, "What! Why didn't my mana refresh?"
4. Realize I dodged and slap self in head.

Which makes me wonder...how does it work with Reflexes and Quicksilver potions?

If I have a natural 20% chance to dodge (from boons and class ability) and drink a Reflexes and a Quicksilver potion what is the mechanism for potential order of effects?

Will my Quicksilver be wasted on my first strike from Reflexes? Can a dodge apply to both strikes even though I don't need it on the first one? Does my 20% dodge have a chance to work before the Quicksilver or does the Quicksilver just increase my 20% to 70%?
