Prepping extra potion shops makes Frank super easy to beat up. Worshipping MA was more than sufficient to beat the level comfortably. I switched over to GG at the end for some conversion piety, but fell 5 piety short from using Enlightenment for some bonus XP. Overall, not too stressful.

Oh man!

I was killing this dungeon. Got up to level 8 quickly by killing a monster then IMAWALING the undead it left behind, casting WONAFYT and killing again...repeat. Easy bonus HP...super fast leveling and had the Trolls Heart.

And then...the dumbest move I've made in a long time.....I forgot that you shouldn't hit STHENO until you really want to fight her....argh!

Suddenly all of my nicely slowed popcorn vanished and she had 80% resistances in everything. I battled Frank for a bit and took him down but couldn't take Stheno after my blunder.

Well, at least I got my streak up to 10 yesterday.

Silly moves will undermine skill every time.

Elf Warlord, Eastern Tundra

I sped this one out because I opened up the game only to have an unexpected ability to play the daily, and I assumed I had only about 25 minutes to finish the round! Turns out I just forgot the rest of the world doesn't do daylight savings time. Mind you, I would have slowed down more had this not been a cakewalk of a run with that Orb of Zot being fantastic for a Warlord, on a Normal map even.
