Hexx Ruins, Goblin Assassin

Pretty much perfect race/class for the dungeon. Easy pickings.

Goblin Assassin in Hexx Ruins
Well, that was scary. At level 6 and with one boss down, I saw the Piercing Wand in the shop and decided it would be fun to take down Stheno that way. It turns out that her resistances can actually go much higher than 90%, and it simply doesn't show you anything past that. It took something like 30 fireballs before the numbers changed at all, and I was only a few casts away from death on what should have been an easy run. But hey, I learned a new fact!

Goblin Assassin - truly a classic combo without peer. I probably should have just gone conversion-crazy for a super-fast time, as it's so rare we get an opportunity to play with this absolutely breathtaking combo in the daily, but I felt a more graceful approach was required. Cheeky, Unstoppable, and Ding! Max were agiven, but I also grabbed Feeling Parched, Hoarder, Miser, and Specialist.

[quote="Zazzlegut"The one gotcha was that instead of killing the Revenants I used IMAWAL on them to turn them to stone. Apparently Drac is okay with that, plus it gives you 50% bonus experience on your next kill.

Between 50% bonus XP on each kill and Balanced Dagger I shot up through the levels. Took two levels of Lifesteal and munched on Meat Mean to have double health.

Gods usually ruin my runs more than other things, though. I find GG to be the most painful of the bunch.[/quote]

I converted IMAWAL a bit earlier, this is all going into the notebook ;)
