Glowing Guardian, I hate you.

Anyway, 2nd floor No Exp, no BYSSEPS... I guess I did all I could.

What a waste, so close!

Anyway, why didn't you use Spirit Pact, if you have 100+ food when going to H, that's pretty solid with Spirit Pact. Getindare also helps tons with a Goat to save food, blackspace, etc. so you were unlucky to not have made it with so much good stuff.

You know, I calculated: Each food with Spirit Pact instead of gives 3 CP, gives at least 9 CP, that's even if when you start with 0 piety.

Piety: 0, Convert 1 Food, Gain 3 CP, Piety +2
Piety: 2, Convert 1 Food, Gain 3 CP, Piety +2
Piety: 4, Convert 1 Food, Gain 18 CP, Piety +2, Piety -5
Piety: 1, Convert 1 Food, Gain 3 CP, Piety +2
Piety: 3, Convert 1 Food, Gain 18 CP, Piety +2, Piety -5

Back to Piety 0 again, so basically you get 45 CP from 5 Food, which is triple of what you will get normally. That't the power of Spirit Pact with GG.

So, you know, I think you could have won, 900+ CP is around 4 to 5 refills to both bars and you had fireheart, so ...

But you can also did some math to compare this Spirit Pacted food with 9 Protections. ;)

9 Protections: 9 x 35% = 315%. that's only 3 refills to both bars. So, 4 or 5 would have been more. And if you didn't use the free 50 CP from PactMaker, each food gives 18 CP for 3 Piety (+2 then -5). So, actually, you could get even more CP, From 50, it will first -5 Piety, then from 45 Piety, another 15 more food to bring it to 0: So 16 Food gives 16 x 18 = 288 CP.

105 Food - 16 Food = 89 Food, remaining 89 Food gives 89 x 9 = 801 CP
So, in total, you could have got 288 + 801 = 1089 CP, that's already 5 refills, so 2 more refills than from protections.

You could have won, :P

[This is assuming you had 0 piety, but you had around 60 piety, so your 105 food could have been worth a lot more CP, theoretically, if you have enough piety, then, 105 Food gives 105 x 18 = 1890 CP, you don't need me to tell you how many refills this is right? A lot!]

Edit:

So, I realised I didn't take into account that when using Protections, you still had 105 Food for Conversion. That's 105 x 3 = 315 CP, about 1.5 Refills (170 + 180 = 350, so like 35 CP short of another refill). So, it could work out to roughly the same as 5 refills, but you had around 60 Piety, which if you used for Spirit Pact, should be able to give you more CP, should be enough for 6 refills that way. So Spirit Pact still gives you more. You could have won with 1 more refill, yeah so, it was close.

Would you mind recording few videos? Demonic library is done under 20min? I think I will never reach that speed of making decisions..

Я просто не знаю, чем записывать.

This game really hates me.

Both immunities. Some resists from Patches. And still impossible! 9th floor preexplored Binlor! And this is not the only one run like this, every time something went wrong! Got immunities? Well, try to make this without ANY resists from stupid bear! Got resists? Well, you don't need immunities then. Got both of them, and resists? Well, enjoy your 2nd floor No Exp, 3nd preexplored, 4th Retaliate... Or some fascinating gods sequence, like EM->TT->EM->JJ (with 0 piety stored, this is one more misfortune for Goat actually, when you convert food to get 45 piety for Petition, you always get 1-2 Corrosion, Weakening, Poison and sure 1-2 Curses...).
And this inventory managment, I will soon see it in dreams, how I need one more slot for Midas, and one more for Taurog's Armor, and one more for Platemail, and one more for Bear Mace in case I met Binlor, and I still need one more for Patches, and one more for Fire Heart, and one more empty to pick up Meat Loaf and Ritual Scroll...
I'm doing everything right! I'm sure. And still this is SO hard, or I got SO unlucky, I just can't believe this shit. So much wasted time and gold. Pffffff.
It was really easier last time...

What can I say? Keep trying, you will get lucky and beat this hands down! Saw my run? I basically had over-abundance of resources in the end, didn't even need to convert any food, just blood-drinking and lifesteal, casting Lemissi to heal up, etc.

You have done it before, I am sure you can do it again!
