2. How about, that the boss gets stronger everytime you kill a even or lower lvl monster and he gets weaker everytime you kill a higher level monster?

Maybe it would be more convenient to discuss it in Trello on appropriate Dungeon card? It will also be easier for me to track changes and we will keep this thread nice and clean.

You need to create Trello account and after that you can add comments for cards. There is "Dungeons" list with all the dungeon cards. It's best to submit feedback in appropriate card. If you want to suggest anything for "Ancient Scrapyard" - just comment on the "Ancient Scrapyard" card.
Same goes for "Classes" list. For example, if you want to submit feedback for Bard or share your thoughts on this class, you can use "Bard" card in "Classes" list.

I like Magician, good to see heavy fireball somewhere other than codex. Having smoke and mirrors on glyph conversion feels a bit weird, though, feels more like a god boon or item than a cost for a class passive, but I'm assuming it would be way too OP on any other trigger like the conversion threshold. Also took me way too long to realise it removed debuffs from the enemies instead of yourself; made the silver challenge weird for me. I also really like how the magician puts Earthmother into the fray more than any class i can think of.

I have no idea what to think of the Bard - starting with such a strong spell and making it even better makes for a very fighter-like class on that front. I can see where crowd favourite can be very strong, especially with small items. Without anything like the tinker's starting compression scrolls though, it feels like a bit of a confused class to me - somewhere between fighter and tinker. As I say, not sure what to make of them.

Bag o tricks seems good, as does cursed sword.

Scrapyard feels a lot like hexx ruins with a tough boss to say that this mod isn't going to mess around. Especially with that quest, this feels like it's made to show off the Bard which is cool.

Lavavein exploding on the fourth hit even if your hit would kill them feels super cheap. I don't know what to think about PISSORF kills on volatile enemies through the wall still damaging you.

I like Lekon's Table. The gimmick of a global revive is fine, and i do like having the Cultists in there. A theme of piety controlling what with the +2 on goat kill and the profaned meat men seems good too. Boss felt like a gimmicky ass-pull until i figured out how the teleports worked and how to abuse them. That run was when i finally beat the Gorgon challenge after too many tries. Made for a good puzzle in the end.

I don't think I saw any warning of the foundry basement being a one-way door; maybe I just skimmed over it too fast. If there isn't one, there should be. I like the prototype bosses and the bridgebuilding that comes with the big boss.

A silly screengrab, especially with -7 mana wastage; Oasis Town is easily my favourite level. Good to see some notable reductive challenge in a level (as opposed to, like, the slightly smaller berserker camp, spooky stuff) - I often would do some dumb transmuter runs on the same principle and always wondered why the base game didn't have this level. Good stuff.

I'm also mixed about the Scrooge badge - there just to make every level Gaan-Telet? Seems kinda pointless without compounding it with a Vicious Token or some such, which would be a challenge to beat.

Did you guys ever consider making some sort of Oasis badge, with the likely balancing needing to be done by adding some sort of subdungeon or a global enemy weakening?

Also - any plans to add any gods or original character/enemy art?

In all, good stuff, Oasis and Magician are the highlights so far to me. Would like to see more of what's in the works.

FIrst off, congrats, and glad you liked it! And now to answer some questions:

1. Scrooge was originally just intended to give players a chance to see how hard they overkilled a dungeon. Then it morphed into a badge-thing where you can actually level up, etc.
2. We plan to make 4 badges, and Oasis one I sort of have in mind. Not sure if it will make the cut for top 4 badge ideas because it just lends itself too well to goblin TT assassin, but it's something I'm looking into potentially making/balancing.
3. I personally want to stay away from making new Gods. It's a hellish thing to balance and would throw the original game more than we intend to. But, there is an upcoming class that really messes with how you play with Gods. Like even more than Goatperson. You'll see.
4. I'd love to have original character/monster art, but artists are super expensive and this is being done on a budget of $0. So unless we found someone who wanted to help free of charge and was reasonably close to the DD style, we'll have to stick to mere light modifications like arcane golems have.

If you want to get things a smidgen at a time and watch as we rebalance our usually way off early ideas, you can join our Trello. The link is on the website somewhere. Or just wait awhile and we'll have another region coming.
We made an expansion and it is awesome. Really, you should check it out, especially if you're looking for some extra challenge.

That goatperson thing: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FMXnNd42HlI

Not a cheese strategy in the slightest, eh?

The one-way door thing was my bad, didn't think to use the bridging - especially so after going down the first time without any!

I guess my feelings about the scrooge badge are tied in it being an addendum to the dungeon instead of actually changing it like the vicious token - but i guess it's no different to going for some of the other challenge badges, it's not trivial. I guess it just feels weird to me.

Combining these two, I've a bug report. Scrooge badge doesn't seem to work on flooded foundry for me, even after killing all the add-ons from the boss. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I5iYht- ... e=youtu.be
