Wow, I won the first Vampire Purist!



I prefer Platemail over GETINDARE so I always wanted to use BURNDAYRAZ, but it seems BYSSEPS is more effective, especially striping the H's resists.

I tried a bit of VT Gorgon, but I consumed all of the blackspaces to third tower. The approach was Binlor+PM, as always, but without HALPMEH I see no hope. This build really rocks on non-VT, but VT is a different kind of problem...

So instead I did a leveling-skip TT Assassin. It works, but it isn't that reliable. You have to find resists gods asap. Even though this build skips the yard and first two towers, I don't think it can beat VT.

Hmmm, maybe possible, if you get Taurog+Dracul and dragon elite / grim malus on tower 1,2. But that's an incredible luck.

Purist Gorgon seems doable, but I really need to find HALPMEH.
PM (consensus + body pact) → Taurog → Binlor → Dracul → Binlor → Dracul, three enemies were left from win.



Scummed for 1st tower PM or Binlor or Taurog or Dracul. But if I need to find HALPMEH anyway, Dracul might not be a great choice for a deity to start with. Can WEYTWUT be an alternative?

Important boons:
Body Pact - depends. You can reach at maximum 60% physical and 43+% magical resists from other boons.
Taurog's gears - maybe only the magic one if you made the body pact.
Blood Shield - only if you made body pact.
Stone Fist - a must, really, this is the most important boon.
Stone Form - a must, imo. Piercing wand is too expensive, there are other good items to buy.
Blood Tithe (3-4 stacks) - again, a must.
Consensus - depends. You might earn Stone Fist or Blood Shield immediately, but it cuts you from 4th stack of Blood Tithe, and you lose the opportunity to convert once freely.

The biggest issue I've had with trying purist gorgon so far has been positioning, and I've had more success spending mana on pisorf or weytwut to move enemies into place than using halpmeh. If a tough enemy spawns in a bad position and you have no means of moving them it could easily cost you the run in how many resources they'll take to bring down. I'm thinking wonafyt is also an option as you can cast it 3-4 times to bring most of the enemies on the map right next to you in perfect positioning for using knockback while also saving blackspace otherwise spent on finding them.

Thanks for the advice, I should try with WEYTWUT. I could do some positioning with the starting ENDISWAL, but JJ's tower and corner spawns of MA/GG's tower was disturbing.

Goo is a lesser problem, but wraith is more important since the Gorgon has lower mr and wraiths cannot be poisoned. And I should poison goo as a secondary target because it will heal too fast, then I'm regen-fighting two at once. I doubt it would be good enough.

I didn't scum for it, but the first two diety had come as the best possible combination. Funny thing is that I had used all seven glyphs lol
