Frigid Battlefield is real rough stuff. Prolly the hardest non-vicious in the game right now. Only thing that comes close is Hidden Workshop, but even then...

Also, platemail isn't as essential as you might think for FP. It certainly helps, but once you have a good understanding of Frostbite and how to handle it, you can do FP comfortably as about anyone without any DR at all. It's all about using those goblins and frozen trolls to your advantage.

Yeah, Platemail is a top-tier item for most of the East, but it's by no means necessary. Every East dungeon contains enemies with First Strike which allow you to wipe your frostbite pretty efficiently most of the time.

I agree that Frigid Battlefield is the hardest non-vicious in the game currently. The Labyrinth layout is absolutely brutal whenever it shows up. At least here you're not punished for breaking walls...

How do I determine if I have the most up-to-date version of the mod?

I downloaded the Launcher and ran it. I seem to be running the modded version (new classes, quests, etc) but on the title screen it says that an update is available and I should run the Launcher.

The same thing happens to me and has happened for quite some time. If you ran the launcher, you're good

I will say that you should beware, though. A quest called Debt Collection currently crashes the game if you accept it. I already reported that one, hopefully a fix comes soon.

Don't worry, a patch is on it's way and should hopefully land soon, this weekend probably.

@shade_of_ox Yeah, I'm afraid that the GoatPerson is the only class who will not be able to beat Curious EB... Normal EB should be quite difficult already.

Also, the PM's pacts are generally very good for the GoatPerson, not only Body or Spirit pacts, but also Scholar Pact that gives you actual health refill for you level ups. Maybe the best strategy is to scumm for Dracul+Taurog+JJ+Platemail, bring in the Dragon Scales for resistances, take Scholar's Pact, and hope to be really lucky...

Please capture the video on your attempts, if you succeed I really don't want to miss that!

Grrrr..., curious dragon isles is giving me trouble. I managed to get to the matron with an heretic, but were three hits short when I had nothing left... These tons of guards downstairs were just horrible

Any tips on strategy here?

@Srid HP refills aren't important, though. What's important is mana refills, I don't think there's a chance to kill the boss without them. So Spirit Pact is probably the correct play, with Dragon Shield, Taurog, Dracul, and Jehora, along with however many Boost Manas you can muster. GG may also work but I think you'd run out of piety with Spirit Pact too fast...

@Nurator I cleared it with Rogue of GG if I remember correctly. He can kill the Echoes fast and Cleansing will help with the physical immune guards.

Thanks for the tip, got it second try with prepped Namtars Ward:) I always tried to go with a caster class, but was stumped in the overworld.
Orc Rogue of GG was really nice At the end, I used Strength Potion, a Reflex Potion and many converts to do over 300 damage in one strike to the Matron:D
