We made an expansion and it is awesome. Really, you should check it out, especially if you're looking for some extra challenge.

Thanks for all your advice Avatar! Those are really good points -- I was stuck in a mindset of "I can cast two level 1 fireballs" when I should have been thinking "I have the HP of a level 3 character and I hit like a truck". And I definitely need to use Entanglement when leveling more. And especially the Swampsouls, I got so used to ignoring my physical attacks that I forgot Half-Dragon + Vine Form's massive HP pool and Half-Dragon's knockback made physical attacks both possible and good.

I guess I really was out of my comfort zone after all. Usually when I'm playing someone I'm comfortable with, I eye up all the monsters three levels higher than me and go "I wonder if I can take this guy". But here my mindset was to just take whatever "good enough" opponents a single level higher than me I could get, even if I could do better.

Took a shot at Endless Blizzard Curious. It seems really cool, and I'll admit I was terrified when I saw how much free stuff it hands you at the start. Love how this run seems, even if I'm thinking my usual purecaster approach won't be so great lategame... but then the game crashed.

EDIT: Actually, I think I have a guess at what went wrong:

Thanks for the bug report, and nice video!

Having the commentaries was quite nice too.
It looks like the Codex + EM is indeed quite useful to get past this quest, nice find.
I think I'll use it when I will actually play the mod (I have never made a regular playthrough of the mod, even if I'm coding it) . I tried a Half-Dragon PC run once and didn't get very far.

Curious EB is a really nice run, and I'm very proud of the little surprise at the end (you'll see when you get there).
It kinda is like 'the VGT of EE', except that it is much more friendly for spellcasting builds, as you'll see.

But like VGT, once you know you're way around it, it can be beaten with fair consistency (and it actually has much less RNG than VGT).

Speaking of VGT, The Avatar forgot Curious VGT in his top 5, which is really meant to be the hardest run of all, just to measure how far people can go. The current version is beatable, though.

I'm trying to get FFFF pt.3 done, bit it looks almost impossible. My best attempts were ended up like with 3 or 4 bosses still alive.

Any tips? You guys here saying it's easy and trivial etc, yeah I don't have to manage glyphs, but usually the entire map is explored by the time I can finally start leveling, or when I got 5-7 level at best. May be I'm missing something? Some tricks? With ensnaring may be I don't know. I just want to unlock the last class.

Yeah, the key for FFFF3 (and really that dungeon in general) is that the only boss you have to actually kill is the one with bloodstains. The others are just tough enemies that drop gold and give the boss debuffs (buffs in Curious).
