God, YES. I've wanted Changeling in Full!DD since I started playing, and I gotta say I am NOT disappointed. The only thing better is the

In response to the Southern Swamp glitch - The Tapir, your answer sounds plausible, but if that's the case then the problem was the inaccurate attack prediction. If I hit a Wraith once, the next attack will predict DEATH regardless of whether or not it normally would kill me, as it should. This doesn't seem to happen with these Serpents.

There are a handful of issues with Disposable Southern Swamp. They'll be fixed in the next patch, coming soon™, but if you want to persevere and complete it now, here's a list of them:

* Attacking an enemy with multiple debuff traits will kill you, even if the predictor says it's safe (this is the most dangerous one)
* Attacking an enemy with curse bearer will predict death if it would die on your second hit, even if your first hit is safe
* Attacking an enemy with poison while already poisoned will not kill you (It should, but it's not)

New bug report- Ick Swamp Disposable! Having >1 Mysterious Seed in your inventory re-activates the mana loss on level up, quickly knocking my mana down to 0 and killing a really good run. If this is intentional, it should be reflected in the item description (which implies it only affects you once). Also, if this is intentional, it shouldn't be, because it's really frustrating and pretty much completely unbalances the map.

EDIT: Plus, the debuffs in Disposable Creeplight don't work? I get the buffs but no associated debuff...

Argh, we spend weeks testing and still so many things pop up. It seems fixing some bugs later on created new ones. I wish we had enough time and people for regression testing, but I suppose that's what everyone here is for (since technically everything is a super-beta until the Central release).

We're closing in on a bugfix-only patch for predominately the disposable problems. There will be a later patch that has all the new Curious and Disposable too, of course, but we'd rather not leave too many problematic issues in while we spend time making that.
We made an expansion and it is awesome. Really, you should check it out, especially if you're looking for some extra challenge.

is evil. I just cleared the quest there, and it wasn't easy by any stretch of the imagination.

I got advice for anyone struggling with the quest.

-Earthmother is a very viable god choice. Imawal is extremely useful in general, and Clearances helps with the later half of the dungeon a lot. Just don't overuse it.

-If you take Pepper, please be aware that when you kill a sub-boss, the Undead trait on the main boss is wiped. Either save it til your final showdown or make the absolute most of the round it's applied for.

-Bleeding in general is a confusing trait to work around, but as far as I'm seeing the most efficient way to work around it is to simply bleed out to 1, heal juuuuust enough to take another hit, strike the boss, bleed for only 1-2 tiles, heal back up to only taking one hit, repeat. There's no reason to go back up to actual full until/unless you're looking to kill another sub boss for a blackspace refresh.

-resists are nice but not essential in the dungeon as a whole. Platemail and lifesteal are better, especially since you absolutely must be a high level to even face the boss.

-Damage is important. I was trying to make Halfling work and lost a few times. Going Human was a far better time.

Well, that's one hell hole down. Time to beat this other Vicious as well.

Namtar's is fun! It gives you the best item in the game. What's to be afraid of? ;)
