Faithless: In a recent run I was going for the Faithless badge, so I avoided converting to any faith. I did make a pact, though, and in the end was surprised to see that I was not awarded this badge.
Warmonger: I think the real limitation is not casting any glyphs. I do not think I ever converted anything from the ground, and I have this badge for several dungeons despite picking up, carrying and converting several glyphs.
