Hey man, I see you're uploading a bunch of images, if you have the transparent version keep at it, otherwise I might teach you how to get them, just so you don't end up putting up images that end up replaced a couple of days later :) --Madness 06:38, 9 November 2013 (UTC)

Transparency

Sure, no problem, btw, I'd post on the forum but I can't recover my password (username is Madness) and I can't activate the new account I created, if you could notify someone there I'd be able to coordinate with you guys there.

Back on the transparency issue, how do you extract files from the .asset? Which tool are you using? --Madness 18:44, 9 November 2013 (UTC)

I was using UnityAssetsExplorer 1.2, which has a function to convert the .tex files into .dds. I'm assuming you're using the Unity engine itself?

Also, what should I tell people on the forams? Madness is doing wiki work as well? --Lieronet

If you could ask the forum admins to check into the email issues it'd be great.
Using UnityAssetsExplorer should net you the .dds with the transparency already, you just need to open those with a program who supports them correctly (paint.net does it and it's free), from there it's just a matter of flipping them vertically (they are always upside down when I extract them). I have no idea how to fix the off-color images tho. I'm testing DisUnity as an extracting tool as well, but no luck for now.
It would surely help if the team gave out a fansite kit with those images already extracted, it'd make life a lot easier for us contributors... --Madness 19:05, 9 November 2013 (UTC)
