Enlightened Gobbo's is totally a thing:

Tinker found it, and it's also a way to play a crazy GG spellcaster, works with Sorcerers but is very, very silly with Wizards. It's still a bit of a thoughtful approach because you need to be able to "solve" the conundrum of squeezing the most out of levels 1 2 1 2, and get a few absolutions and a protction or cleanising in there for the beads, but with a desecration or two (I had 2 here), it makes for a VERY blobby gobbo. With extra mana boosters you're dinging for 3 fireballs even pre-enlightment, and 4 post enlightment, but you're also a healthmonster from the get go with no petition or even potential mishaps. A very, er, "dingy" healthmonster.
The indulgences let me Apheelsick the Matron, too, this specialist is from actually melleing her down (being lvl 11 with Dwarven Gauntlets and +5 dmg out of Enlightment is something Gobbos DO, and 5 halpmehs per pool also does wonders). No schadenfraude, no potion spiking, maybe one very late CB activation, one guard slayer wanded, everything killed with resources left over. I did endiswal the wall down below.
100 piety with GG during most of the endgame even though I took 2-3 protections. If there was Mystera on board, a swap into her for Refreshment on Drained Glyph would've been quite strong. Prepped GG, too. A swap into Drac for sanguine would be just insane.
GG Gobbos, they're a thing. Not sure how strong they are without Dwarven Gauntlets or exra mana, but I hink it's safe to say they're probably fine, because there's things that work well enough besides that. JJ Gobbos are cool and basically Default, GG is for when you want to micro for the epic endgame blobbing and really pile on the cheeze.
I think this is the A-Game Gobbo, the one you take into VGT and destroy everything with.
