PQI sent me to Naga City with a Halfling Warlord. The catch: it must be done Purist... 8-)

Early B2P and abundant subdungeon blackspace almost made me clear the topside, but I decided against spending any resources there. Crystal Ball and Dragon Soul helped me a lot, obviously. Down below I went Mystera (capped piety immediately). I alternated using BURNDAYRAZ, PISORF and CYDSTEPP on the gauntlet bosses, which allowed me to most efficiently use mana and health, sometimes attacking 3 bosses at the same time. I had no resists and I was really glad that I'm a Warlord when I saw that Aequitas does 135 damage (I had 130 max health :) ). I could stay mono-Mystera (and didn't defile any altars) so I still had a bit of wriggle room via possible JJ or Earthmother refill spike conversions. Anyway, fun run, took both luck and wits to win...

Nice job! How hard did it feel grabbing the Warmonger?

Very accomplishing (that a word?), I will now head to namatar's lair. Currently only got wizard victory with ding max.
Also, alot of credit to Darvin, on the warmonger victory, It would've probary taken me a couple of tried and giving up and trying again untill I would've tried orc berzerker of GG with namatar's ward.
Also, an off topic question : what is your signature a referance to? Any meaning behind it? or is it simply... there, so to speak?

Good luck in NL! The same setup could handle it, jut don't forget to take Cleansing before descending, also bringing and RBS can be helpful. Not just against the boss, but the trolls too.

It's a reference to a silly flash game, Lucky Tower. I wrote it from memory, but a google search reveled I kinda misquoted it :P
Should be "Uh-oh it looks like somebody spilled rasberry juice all over the floor". I took this signature because usually when I enter a dungeon it ends with lots of 'raspberry juice' spills everywhere :D

Welp, regolded Dragon Isles through a Chemist run on the first try. Nothing especially hard. Orc, JJ with Dwarven Gauntlets, didn't realise just how much piety (three health boosts, I think two mana boosts, Chaos Avatar into Taurog with three items) that'd generate with a little piety potion to get things going and a touch of peekabooing, so I switched into Taurog for the Matron. A little potion mismanagement on my part but I really like how the Chemist makes me regen-fight properly, which is something I'm usually too lazy to work out. The downstairs was a delight because you can just fireball regen the mana guards, punch the poisoning ones to death and then flatten the Matron with regen-fighting.

Good times had by all non-reptilian, non-druid, non-troll creatures.

---

I really like the Chemist's whole early-game-piety-farm-into-mid-game-generalist-into-late-game regen monster dynamic. It's very cool and gives you so much god synergy (hence, the speed at which you can max Binlor resists then skip out, MA 3 mana boosts, mystic balance, possibly flames and a weakening or two into whatever, slightly better-than-standard JJ plus a strong conversion out at the end... I'm almost tempted to see how crazy an EM Statue Garden strategy into fireball regen fighting would be). I think the next stop is Fireballing VHOS to death, though that might be more dependent on good subs than it is for the Gnome Transmuter/Elf Assassins I've done that with before. Chemist also strikes me as a great DL class but we'll see about that.

And that's the Chemist Demonic Library. Really satisfying run, took 3 goes but one ended to a misclick (not my day). I went with Mystera Annur. Initially I tried a Gnome but just about fell short (maybe 2 hits off, despite TT, who would've simplified the Orcs no end), then went with Orcs. Probably Humans would be the right choice since I didn't have the inventory space to keep Byseps. I used the piety potion business to go Mystera, 2 mana boosts, mystic balance, refreshment then convert out on all the runs. I never got an ideal Drac or Taurog switch for the endgame but on my winning run GG did alright for me with a ton of Protections. A switch to Binlor *might* have been better but seemed more restrictive at the time. Keeping Getindare around on the floor for the final hit was absolutely essential.

On my winning run I had an OK shop haul (Elven Boots and Armor.exe from the sub) but nothing especially stunning or useful and I couldn't reach the secret sub because it was too far in to the wall to Transmuter's Seal and I didn't have any convenient enemies nearby to bash to it; on the earlier two I had a lucky Battlemage Ring. With Piercing Wand and good subdungeons/access I suspect a Gnome could Flames + Fireball the whole thing to death.
