Blovski didn't even get the death he wished for others... (At least I think that's who described slow death by one bad optimization...)

Rock Garden, Halfling Tinker

Pretty relaxing as far as Hard dungeons go. I took Wicked Guitar and Compression Seal, most memorably. I didn't have quite as many items as I could have for most of the run because I had some glyphs I felt iffy about converting or shrinking.

Wicked Guitar is so good on this map. Usually bonus XP is hard to come by until you're already in the boss fights, because the golems don't spawn until you ding, and then they're your level. With Wicked Guitar, you get a steady flow of easy kills with +2 bonus XP. I usually screw up too bad with this item, but when enemies are scarce to begin with and the same level as you half the time, it's breezy. Wicked Guitar tends to be a little double-edged if you have to level up enemies you'd rather leave alone, but that's not much of an issue this time. This was an automatic ding-max achievement map.

Didn't feel like I really needed to prep Fireball Magnet because of the two Transmutation Seals for safety, but I did have a little trouble getting to 2 at first. I underestimated a Dragon Spawn with Wicked Guitar and was unable to land a killing blow safely, whoops. Took a while to find shops and a more suitable enemy. Maybe Flame Magnet over Compression Seal might've been advisable, but no harm done in the end.

Did pretty well on Saturday's run, Dwarf Sorcerer. Gloves of Midas with Elite Items for more potential benefit. Pretty easy run, ended up forgetting to use Yendor. Interestingly I was higher on damage than anyone above me on time, which is the opposite of what usually happens.

The Halfling Tinker on Rock Garden run today was a bit rougher, took me nearly 8 minutes. I could have probably done it pretty quickly if I went ahead and picked up Taurog, then again, the phys resist boss might have given me trouble. As it is I went Mystera and tried for a hybrid spellcaster built, worked pretty well, can't go wrong with refreshment on a potion race.

Man am I out of it today. Stupid stuff like forgetting to clean up plants, or when I do clean up plants detonating burning on a slowed enemy and thwarting my own planned first strike level-up. Still won in reasonable time, because this was a very generous setup, but really was I ever out of it.
