Spam Pages
Hey Dislekcia, I was wondering if you would like me to go through and delete some of the spam articles on the wiki, which would include most of the pages listed on Special:ShortPages. I cleared the spam but I see there are some habitual spammers on here, for instance: Bololoikak2. I didn't want to overstep any bounds by blocking them as the pretense for my admin account was deleting spam. But I wanted to bring it to your attention and check if you were okay with blocking any active spammers. If so I would only target external link spammers to prevent any users just testing being affected. Thanks.--Gentlegiant03 22:20, 22 November 2010 (UTC)
- Oh, and I was also curious about spam on User pages, for instance the following page is some russian sites about job recruitment. Clearing user pages seems draconian but if it's obvious spam... Sorry if I'm a pest, just don't want to step on any toes. --Gentlegiant03 22:28, 22 November 2010 (UTC)
Go ahead and block the habitual spammers :) Don't worry about appearing draconian, this wiki exists to support a version of the game that's been pretty fully documented. I doubt that users here are focusing too much on community aspects... If it'll get rid of spam and parasites, go for it!
