Badges
Main Article: Extreme Edition Badges
Four unlockable badges have been added to the game:
Scrooge is achieved by defeating all 12 bosses in the "boss party" subdungeon, which must be selected as a preparation.
Curious dungeons, also known as Investigations, are special, remixed versions of the home dungeon that award this badge on completion.
Disposable is a badge earned by taking on an odd-job in any dungeon, including Curious ones. You are forced to play as a
Human Guard with no abilities and you are given a varying number of unconvertible items that introduce unique, often detrimental new mechanics into your run.
Egotistical, or Death Wish, is a mutator/badge that boosts most monsters in the game. Death Wish buffs enemies on a per-monster basis, changing their name, traits, and stats independently of all others.
Rebalance

With QCF Design's permission, most features except for rewinding have been backported from the 2023 remake, Desktop Dungeons: Rewind. Additional options include the traditional Vanilla balance and Rebalance, which builds on top of the Rewind changes.
"Rewind scouting" and the Fighter Rewind changes are able to be toggled on and off on their own.
